Acupuncture isn’t just a nice add-on to your IVF or FET cycle — there’s real physiology behind why it can help.

It’s thought to support fertility by increasing blood flow to the uterus and ovaries, helping to thicken and prepare the uterine lining, and calming the nervous system at a time when stress hormones can work against implantation.

For frozen transfers especially, timing matters — many patients do a session before and after transfer to support blood flow to the uterus right when the embryo is being placed.

It’s not a replacement for your clinic’s protocol — it’s a complement to it. Something that works alongside your medications and monitoring, not instead of them.

If you’re curious how acupuncture could fit into your prep or transfer plan, that’s something we can map out together in a Fertility Strategy Session. Link in bio.

The egg you’ll retrieve during your cycle actually started developing about three months before ovulation. That means whatever’s happening in your body today — inflammation, blood sugar, nutrient levels, sleep, stress — is shaping the egg quality you’ll see at retrieval.

Jump into IVF without that runway, and you’re working with whatever your body happened to be doing the last few months. Give it 90 days, and you have a real window to influence the outcome.

This is the whole premise behind my 90-Day Egg Health Protocol — using that window intentionally instead of letting it pass by default.

If your IVF date isn’t locked in yet, this is the best time to start. If it is locked in, we can still make the most of the time you have.

Progesterone doesn’t just support pregnancy — it’s what makes implantation possible in the first place.

After ovulation (or your trigger in an IVF cycle), progesterone thickens and primes your uterine lining, making it receptive enough for an embryo to actually implant. Too little, and even a great-quality embryo can struggle to attach.

This is why we don’t just look at “did ovulation happen” — we look at whether progesterone rose enough, at the right time, to do its job. Luteal phase labs matter just as much as follicular ones.

If you’ve had unexplained implantation failure or a short luteal phase, this is often part of the missing piece.

Want your levels reviewed as part of a full picture, not just one data point? That’s what we dig into in a Fertility Strategy Session. Link in bio.

Your gut and your eggs are more connected than you’d think.

Gut health affects how well you absorb the nutrients your eggs need — folate, B12, iron, omega-3s. It also plays a role in estrogen metabolism, inflammation levels, and immune balance, all of which matter during an IVF cycle.

If your gut is inflamed or your microbiome is out of balance, you could be taking all the “right” supplements and still not getting the full benefit.

This is why gut health is part of the picture in every protocol I build — not just what you’re taking, but whether your body can actually use it.

Want a plan that looks at your full picture before your next cycle? That’s what we map out in a Fertility Strategy Session. Link in bio.

“Just relax and you’ll get pregnant” — if you’ve heard this once, you’ve heard it a hundred times. Let’s talk about what stress actually does (and doesn’t do) to your fertility.

Chronic stress doesn’t directly cause infertility. But it does affect the hormonal signals between your brain and ovaries, disrupt sleep and blood sugar regulation, and make it harder to stick with the habits that support egg quality.

The goal isn’t zero stress — that’s not realistic during a fertility journey. It’s building nervous system resilience so your body isn’t running on high alert 24/7.

This is why stress management is part of every protocol I build, not an afterthought. Your mind and your ovaries are more connected than you think.

Want a plan that treats your whole picture — labs, lifestyle, and stress load included? That’s what we cover in a Fertility Strategy Session. Link in bio.
