Our amazing NP Tara! 🩺

Meet a Nurse Practitioner: NPAO would like to recognize & acknowledge NP Tara Peel!

Tara Peel, NP-PHC,MSCP, is a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at the Aurora Newmarket Family Health Team, where she has provided comprehensive, patient-centred care for the past 14 years. A graduate of Queen’s University, Tara has a special interest in women’s health and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner through The Menopause Society and a Certified ADHD Practitioner.

She is passionate about improving access to care through clinical practice, patient education, and community outreach, including the delivery of virtual menopause education programs. Tara also serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgina Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic, supporting the advancement of accessible, integrated healthcare services within the community.

The Northern York South Simcoe Ontario Health Team (NYSS OHT), in collaboration with Southlake Health, is pleased to invite caregivers and community members to our upcoming Caregiver Support Fair.

Join us to connect with local organizations and supports, explore resources and services available in your community, and learn more about supports for caregivers and their loved ones. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit information booths, participate in wellness activities, attend educational presentations, and connect with organizations offering support and guidance.
