I’m a Canadian and im a member of a number of groups in the United States who have a family member with a disability. So many programs that support people with disabilities are being eliminated or cut back Medicaid is the major issue They asked me to contact my congressperson to get the programs restored. My first thought was “ what good is that going to do he’s just one person in a group of 435 members. For my congressman to restore those programs he would have to convince a majority of 435 congressional members How in the hell is one person going to convince the majority of members to restore Medicaid for these poor people I thought thats why nothing ever gets done the IS the swamp What a stupid political system
