Please join us as we celebrate Canada's Birthday at our Canada Day BBQ on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We kindly ask that family members and friends bring their own lawn chairs.
Please RSVP by June 23, 2026, and let us know the number of people attending.
The BBQ will be by donation, with all proceeds supporting the Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime program.
Come dressed in your best red and white attire and help us celebrate everything that makes Canada special!

Employee Appreciation Month is off to a delicious start at Team Barton! 🌴🍓🥤

Today our amazing staff were treated to a yogurt bar and refreshing smoothies as a small thank you for all the hard work, compassion, and dedication they show every day.

We are so grateful for each and every member of our team who helps make Barton feel like home for our residents. 💙

Team Barton completed 2 emergency drills today — a Code Red (fire drill) followed by a Code Green Full Evacuation.

We are incredibly proud of the teamwork, communication, and quick response demonstrated by our staff. Together, we were able to ensure every resident was evacuated safely and efficiently — even our pets were safe! 🐾

A special thank you to Mario, our Maintenance Manager, for always making safety a priority, and to Caitlin and Yolanda for stepping up and participating in the evacuation of the residents.

Great job, Team Barton! Your dedication to resident safety and preparedness truly shines. 👏🚨
