Jesse was born in Cumberland House to Jeremiah and Beatrice Constant. This union had 3 brothers and 8 sisters. Today he leaves behind his sisters Esther (Thomas), Jolie, Ella and his foster sister Wanda (Pattie). Jesse was part of ‘The Scoop’ and him and his younger sisters ended up in foster homes in Crieghton and Denare Beach, SK. Jesse along with his sister Anita resided at Syd & Eileen Banting. Jesse ended up getting to grade 10 at Hapnot Collegiate in Flin Flon, MB. After that he went back and forth to his home in Cumberland House to reconnect with his family. When bored he did manual labour for a friend in Flin Flon.
We all knew and loved Jesse as a quiet, kind-hearted, forgiving man who loved the solitude of the bush. It is there that he could quiet his thoughts and enjoy the bounties and the beauty that Mother Earth provided. He was good at tracking and guiding. He could “do goose” very quickly. It was a messy job but he got it done for some extra cash. We all enjoyed listening to his hunting stories like the one when the moose came “alive” in their boat!! Hunting was his element, fishing not so much. But he did talk about sturgeon fishing. Jesse always amazed us. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing and camping. He liked to play cards, solitary cribbage and crossword puzzles. He loved his long walks and visiting family and friends. Jesse was known to give out nicknames to all he knew. He loved all his children and special niece Thomasina Lathlin. He liked firefighting and bush pushing.
Jesse ‘Moo Moo’ was loved by his sisters and their families. He helped the nieces out a lot with babysitting while the parents went to the city. It usually got him a pack of smokes, a box of wine or a few dollars. The kids loved and respected their ‘Moo Moo’. Jesse was known to do work for Cumberland Band by either planting trees, cutting bush or as an elder at camps. Going to camp was one of the highlights of his summers.
After an accident Jesse suffered a major brain injury including several fractures and dislocations. After the hospital, his level of care had changed drastically. His family attempted to adequately and softly care for him. This was a very emotional time for his family.
In December 2024 Jesse officially moved to his foster sister’s home in Martensville. Jesse remained in Wanda and Ron’s care until his passing. During his time with his foster sister Wanda, he was reunited with his eldest daughter Jessica. They a few years to spend together and by doing so, his daughter changed her lifestyle, with his support and compassion. Jesse will be missed by all that knew him. Jesse made friends everywhere he went. He was loved by everyone who he met and he loved them also.
Jesse was pre-deceased by his son Joseph Bird; his parents Jeremiah and Beatrice Constant; his sisters Louisa, Leah, Mary, Hilda, and Anitha; his brother Steve, Daniel and Roy; his Uncle Patrick and Louisa Buck; his Aunties Agnes and Virgina Buck; his nephew Terry Pelly, Marcus Constant, and William Sewap; his nieces Tamara Constant, and Nancy Buck; his granddaughter Trinity Settee.
He leavers to treasure his memories his children Jessica Ferris (Archie and Matthew), Desirai Gamble and Cory McKenzie (Kade McKenzie); his sisters Esther (Thomas), Joli, Ella, Patti Carriere and his foster sister Wanda Aamodt; and numerous nieces and nephews; his foster parents Syd & Eileen Banting, Wilfred & Virgina Sigurdson, Greg East & Jan Modler.

Arden Joel McGillivary was born to his loving parents, Valerie Lathlin and Joel McGillivary. He was warmly welcomed home by his brother, Aiden; his maternal grandparents, Peter and Marilyn Laliberty; his paternal grandparents, Marcel and Barbara McGillivary; and many cherished family members. He was lovingly nicknamed “Charlie Brown”, “Ardo” and his grandpa Chenap used to call him “Sebastian”.
Arden passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 3:13 p.m. at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. As an organ donor, he remained on life support so that his generous gift could be shared with others. His organ donation surgery took place on Friday, July 24, 2026, and was completed at exactly 3:13 p.m. Five organs were accepted, giving five people waiting for transplants a renewed chance at life. After the surgery, Arden’s family and friends took part in an Honor Walk. Hospital staff, doctors, nurses, and loved ones lined the hallway in a silent and respectful final tribute, honouring Arden’s gift of life and the giving young man he was.
Arden was an outgoing, loving, caring, and polite young man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He often went for family visits in Red Earth and Shoal Lake and they loved his distinctive Cumberland Cree accent. He loved to “chill” with the people closest to him and was happiest outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, Arden also loved camping and found joy in the open sky, quiet mornings on the water, and the beauty of nature.
Arden attended Nisto Awasisak Memorial School and later continued his education through upgrading with Sask Polytech. He had a natural talent for sketching and drawing, and he proudly shared his creative Indigenous artwork with others. His artistic ability was recognized when he won a Remembrance Day poster contest with one of his unique pieces. Arden also enjoyed playing basketball with his “homies,” as he lovingly called his friends. Arden’s milestones were always celebrated and showed how much he was loved and cherished.
Arden was strong, dependable, and hardworking. He faced every challenge with determination and was always willing to give his best in whatever he set out to do. He loved working and building with his dad and foster dad. He worked alongside his dad on construction contracts.
Arden leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Valerie Lathlin and Joel McGillivary; brothers Aiden Laliberte, Park Buck Jr. and Jedidiah Lathlin; sisters Anissa McGillivary, Ryanna Laliberte, Joely and Joy McGillivary; nephew Carlos McGillivary. He will also be remembered by his grandmother Marilyn Laliberty; Foster parents Travis and Alexis Buck. Numerous uncles, aunties, cousins and extended families and all his friends.
Arden was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Peter Laliberty, Sidney Laliberty, and Stella Lathlin; his maternal grandparents, Marcel and Barbara McGillivary; his sister, Prissa McGillivary; and numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins who were waiting to welcome him on his journey to the afterlife.

Laura Marie Laliberte was born in Nipawin, SK. Laura passed away at the age of 39 surrounded by family on July 23, 2026 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK.
Laura grew up in Cumberland House, SK with her mom, siblings, relatives and many friends. Laura has four beautiful children ~ Kolby Rayne, Edmond Paul Olé, Marco Justice and Bryce, who she loved with a deep passion. She graduated Grade 12 from Nisto Awasisak Memorial School in Cumberland House in June 2012. She attended NDRPAC in La Ronge, SK in 2012. She was very smart and intelligent. She went to work in Lake Louise, AB for a season, she really enjoyed her time there.
Laura resided in Saskatoon and spent a lot of time at her sister Chayenne’s visiting and spending time with her mom, sister, her children, nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Laura enjoyed sewing and beading. She gifted her children with beautiful items that she had created, that they will cherish forever. Laura loved spending quality time with her mom, children and siblings. Laura will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Laura is survived by her beautiful children, Kolby Rayne, Edmond Paul Olé, Marco Justice and Bryce. Her mother Patricia (Robert) Fiddler and her father Lester (Mary Anne) Thomas. Her siblings Cheyene Laliberte, Brennan Carriere, Ronnie Budd, and Roslynn Thomas. Her nieces and nephew. Her aunties Lorna (Ernest) Chaboyer, Marilynn Laliberte, Sara (Bill), and Laurette Thomas. Her uncles Joseph (Kimberly) Laliberte, Wayne (Bernice) Laliberte, John (Jane) Laliberte, Niel (Isabel) Laliberte, Frank Laliberte, John Baptiste (Sam) Laliberte, Glenn Thomas, Medrick (Linda) Thomas, Barney (Rhonda) Thomas, Adrien (Shiela) Thomas, Gillman (Kathleen) Thomas, and Bill Thomas. Numerous cousins from both sides of the families, and numerous friends and extended relatives.
Laura is pre-deceased by her grandparents John Baptiste & Victoria Laliberte and Margaret Thomas. Brother Keith Flett. Aunties Emily Dorion, Doreen Dussion, Rebecca Laliberte, Debbie Thomas and Marjorie (Wilfred) Turner. Uncles Ronald Laliberte, Robert Laliberte, Gerald Laliberte, Sidney Laliberte, Peter Laliberte, and Clyde Thomas. Cousins Fabian Laliberte, Carlos Laliberte, Christopher Laliberte, Christopher Greenleaf, Angela Laliberte, Shirley Laliberte, Saul Laliberte, Cyril James Laliberte, Tanya Laliberte, Michelle Swain, and Glenna Thomas.

Lonny Harry Lamberty was born in the Nipawin Hospital. He grew up in the White Fox, Garrick and Choiceland area with his brother and sister, doing the usual school activities. When in Garrick, Lonny’s very best friend at 4 and 5, was Keith Almen. Together they put many miles on their tricycles, wearing the front tire down to the wire. Then when we moved to Choiceland his best friend Bob Clark and Lonny graduated to ski Doo’s, spending many hours together, some of those hours were on repairing machines that they hoped wouldn’t break down and that dad and mom wouldn’t find out about. Lonny was a part of the Air Cadet’s and later he became a volunteer fire fighter.
After high school, Lonny took off to Alberta like a lot of young guys, but came back to be with his son Matthew and worked for the R.M. of Torch River. Later He and Matthew moved to Flin Flon, MB, where he worked in the mine. It was in Flin Flon that he met Valerie MacKinnon and they started a life together. They worked various jobs, one being at Fats Camps for Kim and Eda Wilburn and then they moved back to Prince Albert, SK. There he drove trucks for Ruszkowski Enterprises Inc., hauling gravel in summer and logs in winter to many places in Saskatchewan and Alberta – jobs he enjoyed – even if he did grumble.
A visit to the Doctor in September 2025 brought his working to an end when he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. During this time Kerri and Connie did many good things for Lonny in the hospital and at home. Those two always made his day as they would bundle him up in a jacket, toque and blankets and take him out for a smoke or two and he’d be happy. Things the family is forever thankful for. He fought the cancer from September 2025 to February 5, 2026, when he lost the battle.
Left to treasure his memory is his son Matthew (Sheena) Lamberty; his partner of 34+ years, Valerie MacKinnon, Val’s daughter, Kerrie Laidlaw and Kerri’s son Gunner Duthie, Val’s son Johnnie Laidlaw; Parents Harry and Violet Lamberty; brother Neil (Celeste) and sister Connie (Dave) Gregoryk; 5 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews; many cousins and friends. Lonny will be laid to rest with his Grandpa Clarence F. Lamberty in the White Fox Cemetery.

Carol Irene (Phillips) Isfan was born to Archie & Helen Phillips at Lipton, SK. Carol grew up on the Phillips Family Farm just south of Lipton and graduated Lipton High School in 1958. After high school she joined the Air Cadets and worked at the TB Clinic, Fort San until 1962. She married Nick Isfan Dec. 28, 1962 at St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church in Regina. Nick and Carol lived in Regina. Nick worked as an electrician and Carol as a hairdresser. In 1966 they moved to Lipton.
At Lipton, Carol worked part-time at the Town Library and did hair dressing. Nick owned his own electrical contracting business based out of Lipton. They also owned/operated the car wash at Fort Qu'Appelle in the late 1980s. Nick and Carol moved from Lipton to Nipawin in 1991. Their only son Andy was born in Fort Qu'Appelle.
Carol was a caring and compassionate person dedicated to her family and the world is a less kind place as a result of her passing. Carol, although only 4 ft 10 in tall - was feisty and tough as nails - the British way. She was an incredible house manager (and strict). Her house was immaculately clean at all times.
Her son was her pride and joy from the moment he was born until the day she died. She was an amazing cook. Carol’s hobbies were curling, ball games, Rider football, senior hockey games, gardening, yard work and reading. She shared a love of sun-tanning with her son. The family enjoyed summer-time fire pit parties and laughter with friends/neighbours in their Lipton backyard and camping in Northern Saskatchewan. Carol liked her beer warm as do the British. She played ladies soft-ball and helped coach soft-ball in Lipton. Carol and Nick were busy travelling all over southern SK with their son’s hockey games during his school years. They were blessed to have had many wonderful friends in Lipton and several in Nipawin and enjoyed multiple daily trips to the coffee shop.
Carol is survived by her brother Ron Phillips of Fort Qu'Appelle, her husband Nick Isfan of Nipawin and her son Andrew (Andy) Derek Isfan of Saskatoon. Carol is pre-deceased by her sister Margaret and her brothers Jack and Bob.

Bonnie Gwen (Blough) McClean was born on February 15, 1956 and was laid to rest on July 29, 2026 at the Mabel Hill Elevator Columbarium. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Carrot River High School in 1974. Three years later in 1977 Bonnie married Billy McClean and had two sons, Donald and Duncan. When her marriage broke down Bonnie and Clay Hoffart became partners.
Bonnie was pre-deceased by her infant brother Graham Blough, parents Weldon Blough and Mary Golding, step-father Harold Golding, her ex-husband Billy McClean, and her partner Clay Hoffart.
She is survived by her sons Donald and Duncan McClean, brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Lorraine Blough, and nephew and nieces Luke, Lisa, and Lacy.
Bonnie worked in the SAAN store, Extra Foods, No Frills and the concession at the Centennial Arena. She was a member of the Nipawin 5 Pin Bowling Association and in her spare time she made quilts, visited seniors and loved to collect things. Unfortunately after her retirement from No Frills dementia slowly took Bonnie away until her passing.

Raymond Jubal Dussion was born in Carrot River, SK. He passed from this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Saskatoon, SK at the age of 58 (40 forever) years old.
Raymond took his education in Carrot River during his younger years. He lived with Alvina and Melvin Price for several years. He grew up on the trapline with his granny and his mooshum. He took the knowledge from his mooshum to heart, “work hard and stay humble.” He formed a love of animals, a deep love for his children, grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Raymond lived a hard life and proved to himself and others that change is possible. He loved to make everyone laugh and feel comfortable. He instilled seeds of encouragement to his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family.
Raymond will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Annabelle Thomas-Dussion; his sons, Tavis, Aaron (Patience), Pacen (Paula); his daughters, Korisa (Melvin), Jessica, Skyhann; his grandchildren, Anthony, Mercades (Aiden), Tamis, Kiaryn, Kohen, Abel, Talia, Sage, Alesanndra, Russell; his great-grandchild, Mililah; his brother, Rod (Stella); his sister, Belinda and her daughters Charmaine, Gaylene, and Patricia; and his numerous nieces and nephews, Nordika (Vince), Clifford, Missy, Sammie, Darius.

Barry was born in Nipawin, SK to William and Vera Schemenauer. He attended the Snowden Elementary School and then attended William Mason School, graduating in 1970.
After high school he worked in the bush cutting logs. He started electrical trade school in 1972 and graduated in 1976, receiving his Red Seal Interprovincial Electrical Certificate.
Barry worked for several electrical companies throughout his career, starting in Nipawin for Dyer-Nelson Electrical and finishing with Montreal Lake Band Electrical. During this time, he also helped his dad farm and his mom with the garden (digging potatoes was his favorite). Barry also found time to install and repair satellite systems for friends and neighbors.
Many people will be missing his daily calls. He took the time and was genuinely interested in what everyone was doing. Barry was especially helpful when his oldest nephew, Clint, started farming. He had the knowledge that Clint needed and never missed a day to call and check on how Clint was making out.
Over the years he would travel to Saskatoon and run one of the cutters during the hay season. He did this even after he had a mild stroke. Sometimes he would cut a bit wide, but he didn’t care. He said he just left a bit for the deer.
In 2008 he eagerly joined his brother Morley in Mexico to see the condo project he had started there. His first impression and comments were regarding the electrical work. He said it was not good.
Barry managed to spend several weeks for many winters in Mexico. He helped out with whatever needed to be done and if he wasn’t there, he called every day to check the progress. He was instrumental in laying out the electrical distribution system when Morley started a new building in 2022. By the end of 2025, when the building was finished, Barry knew every new condo owner and any work that still needed to be completed. He had an amazing memory. Even after several rounds of radiation on his head, where normally one would lose memory, it did not affect Barry’s memory.
Barry loved to go fishing, especially ice fishing. He would usually just use a single prong hook, a minnow, weight and a bunch of tangled line. He would set up his line, head back to the ice shack for a sandwich and out-fished a lot of us on most trips.
Barry is survived by his brother Morley and sister-in-law Patty; his nephew Clinton (Shayla); great nephews Eli and James; great niece Madilyn; his niece Jaclyn; his nephew Matthew (Jennifer); great nephew Kaden and great niece Lily. His is also survived by uncles, aunts and cousins.

Barry thank you for the memories.
