Hello, and welcome here! My name is Keshia Nickel, and I am the new Community Connector for Nipawin. My main focus is helping to fill gaps and connect seniors to different people/programs/specialists in the community, that they might not otherwise know are there for them.

RSV is a common lung infection in infants. Some cases are mild, but others can cause serious illness and lead to hospital stays—especially in children under two.

The RSV immunization, called nirsevimab, is a one-time protective antibody injection given after birth before going home from the hospital.
