VIRTUAL- Postpartum Support Group Fall🍂& Winter❄️2026

🗓️Launching new dates for September to December 2026 for parents of newborns to 18 months.

📍Group meets virtually, bi-weekly on WEDNESDAY mornings from 10:00-11:00am.

👩‍🍼🧑‍🍼Postpartum Support Group is a great add on for anyone with perinatal mental health challenges who is involved in additional therapy supports. It is also a space for those struggling in the adjustment to being new parents, those feeling isolated, or wanting a space to connect with other parents and build community.

📝Groups are facilitated by Stephanie Belaire BSW, RSW who has specialized advanced training in perinatal mental health. Groups are covered by most insurance plans.

📈Affects 60-80% of new mothers
Caused by hormone fluctuations at the time of birth and acute sleep deprivation

🧠Can include: Tearfulness, lability, reactivity, exhaustion. It is unrelated to stress or prior psychiatric history.

🗓️Lasts between 2 days to 2 weeks after birth
Usually peaks 3-5 days after delivery.

🌟Ava holds a Bachelor of Social work Degree from Nipissing University and will be supporting the clinic as a Client Service Navigator.
