Calling adults with disabilities in BC, MB, ONTARIO and NS! πŸ“’

We’re sharing an important new study from the Canadian Centre for Housing Rights and the University of Winnipeg.

If you have a disability, chronic condition, or access need that affects your housing or daily life, they want to hear from you. The goal is to better understand the housing barriers and discrimination disabled people face across Canada.

Participants can enter a draw for one of 20 $50 gift cards.

πŸ’ž We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the North Bay and Area Community Foundation for helping ensure that participation at The PADDLE Program remains attainable for the people who rely on it. πŸ‘πŸ’™

Their support reduces financial barriers so that adults with developmental disabilities can continue to participate in meaningful learning πŸ“š, relationship-building 🀝, wellness 🌱, and community 🌎.

The Foundation has supported The PADDLE Program and the people we serve for many years, providing ongoing assistance that has helped make participation possible for countless individuals. πŸ’«

Especially during a time when our organization has faced significant financial uncertainty, we are grateful for partners who continue to invest in our mission and demonstrate confidence in the value of this work. ❀️

Access to opportunity should not depend on a person's income, and we are grateful for partners who recognize the importance of making inclusion possible in practical ways. β™Ώβœ¨

When financial barriers are reduced, opportunities grow 🌱, dreams become achievable 🌟, and people are better able to pursue their goals 🎯 and live the lives they choose. πŸ’™πŸ§‘πŸ’š

Thank you, North Bay and Area Community Foundation, for helping make that possible. πŸ™βœ¨
