I’m always over here thinking I need to be doing more 😅
More productive. More fit. More organized. Better balanced. Whatever.

Meanwhile this girl thinks working out with me is fun, wants to help me cook, and is constantly showing me her “muscles” 🥹

Kids really make you realize they’re not looking for perfection.
They’re just watching how you live.

And honestly… if she grows up thinking taking care of yourself is normal, being strong is cool, and movement is something you get to do — then I’m pretty happy with that. 🤍

Fear doesn’t always mean stop.
A lot of the time, it just means this version of you is new.

New standards.
New habits.
New boundaries.
New levels of confidence and growth.

Your nervous system will always try to pull you back toward what’s familiar — even when familiar is exactly what’s keeping you stuck.

So if it feels uncomfortable? Good.
That doesn’t mean you can’t do it.
It means you’re expanding.

How I recharge my energy isn’t complicated.

I move my body.
I breathe deeper.
I step away from the noise and come back to myself.

Not because I’m trying to escape life —
because I’m trying to show up better inside of it.

When you pour into your own cup first, everything else benefits.
Your patience.
Your clarity.
Your ability to lead, love, parent, and work without running on empty.

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish.
It’s the foundation that allows you to be the version of yourself everyone else needs.

Protect your energy.
It’s one of the most valuable things you have.

Five minutes here.
A set while the kids play.
A walk before dinner.

These little choices add up.
They show the people watching you what taking care of yourself actually looks like.

And more importantly… they show you that you can trust yourself to follow through.

Protecting your energy is a habit.

Not every conversation needs your input.
Not every opinion deserves your attention.
Not every environment is meant for you to stay in.

When something consistently pulls you away from peace, love, or growth, it’s usually a sign — not a challenge you need to win.

Part of becoming stronger is learning where your energy belongs and where it doesn’t.

You don’t need to fight every battle.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply disengage.

That’s not weakness.
That’s self-respect.
