On a brand new episode of Don’t Change Much, Mike and Trevor talk to author Alison Armstrong for a conversation you won’t want to miss.

From exploring the shame many men carry to holding ourselves to impossible standards that are bound to fail, we talk self-forgiveness, accountability, and letting go of our addiction to anger.

We’d like to thank our friends at Big Red Mental Health Society for their steadfast support of men’s mental health.

During their annual Drive to Thrive golf tournament, they raised an incredible $13,750 in support of our work at CMHF, along with welcoming CMHF Champion Shea Emry to speak during the event, recording a live podcast with Don't Change Much hosts Trevor Botkin and Mike Cameron, and getting participants suited up for .

Our team is grateful to Julia and the rest of the Big Red team for their support and their commitment to encouraging men to be more open about their mental health.

Our team is truly amazed by the outpouring of support from our community. Your support is truly what allows us to do what we do, developing programs that help men across Canada live better.

Today, we wanted to highlight Felix Akanno, who recently ran over 300km from Calgary to Edmonton to raise funds and awareness for men's health. Inspired by the acts of kindness that improved his own life, Felix's run raised over $1,800 to support our work.

Thank you, Felix, for your determination, your generosity, and your inspirational approach to supporting others.

Working in the trades isn't easy.

It's a demanding field that can take a lot out of you, both physically and mentally.

Behind the hard hats and steel-toe boots, many of our coworkers and friends are struggling, grappling with depression, substance abuse, and more.

At CMHF, we're developing programs that harness the power of trusted peer connections without cutting corners, providing accessible training and tools. Stay tuned for those details later this year.

Today, we wanted to share an article that highlights the power peer support has for construction teams, including lived experience from industry veteran Trevor Botkin and clinical counsellor Cameron Grunbaum, along with tips on how to drive real positive change within your crew.
