Today is the day!

❤️ Jan 17th, we are taking part once again ❤️

On January 17th, 2022, which would have been Betty White's 100th birthday, the was created. January 17th, 2026 marks the 4th anniversary of the challenge. The encourages people to donate at least $5 to a local animal welfare organizations.

The guiding practice of rescue invariably is spay and neuter. But our responsibility does not end there. Not only are Donegal cats sheltered and fed, they have access to air conditioning and heat. They are vaccinated yearly and treated regularly against fleas and worms and vetted for sickness, infection, injury and disease. My past TNR efforts endeavor to address the homeless cat issue in our community through spay and neuter.
Donegal is home to 28 cats. It has been 11 years since kittens were born on the farm. We hope that with our diligence, we have stopped the cycle of neglect and made our small corner a little better for our feline friends.
