💊 Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) Annual $100 Deductible 💊

Every year starting August 1st, seniors in Ontario who are enrolled in the Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) program are required to pay a $100 annual deductible before their prescription drug coverage kicks in.

🧓 Who Is Affected?
- Seniors aged 65 and older with a valid Ontario Health Card.

📅 When Does It Start?
- The deductible resets every August 1st.
- You must pay the first $100 of eligible prescription drug costs before ODB coverage begins for the year.

Your deductible comes out of each prescription based on the cost of the medication. If you have a very expensive prescription you may have to pay the $100 up front. Otherwise, you might see it coming out in small amounts until you reach your $100.
