If you're caring for a loved one with dementia, check out our FREE 8-week Dementia Information Series! You'll learn all about the condition, how it can affect your loved one, how to effectively communicate with them, and how to cope with caregiving.

Do you love dogs as much as we do? Volunteer in our Puppy Love Therapy Program!

Starting this Fall, you can join a therapy dog and their handler to visit older adults at home. Together you'll make beautiful moments that are full of smiles, invaluable social connection, and tail wags!

Your role:
• Chat with the client
• Help everyone feel comfortable
• Be a friendly, reassuring presence
• Resist the urge to steal the spotlight from the dog!

Location: The homes of older adults living in Oakville & Burlington
Start Date: Fall 2026
Commitment: 12 weeks (with the option to stay longer)

This program is run in collaboration with Sunshine Therapy Dogs!

It's coming! The Burlington Volunteer Fair is next Saturday August 22, 2026 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at St. St Christopher's Anglican Church (662 Guelph Line).

Attending Halton Catholic District School Board or Halton District School Board and need to get volunteer hours? You want to be at this event as 35 organizations will be showcasing their fall and winter volunteer opportunities.
