Royal Ford Veterinary Hospital was established in 1999 and has been caring for dogs and cats since the day the doors opened. Our staff are compassionate animal lovers and our hospital practices high quality veterinary medicine. We strive to provide both exceptional patient care and outstanding client service. Located in southeast Oakville, we provide care for patients in Oakville, Mississauga and

Burlington, and even as far away as North Bay! The hospital is co-owned and co-directed by two Ontario Veterinary College graduates. Dr. David Polson and Dr. Chris Catena are very knowledgeable and caring, and will work with you to determine what is best for your pet.

We are excited to announce that Dr. L.J. (Lee Jane) Huffman has made her return to Royal Ford in a GP Locum capacity.

Many pet owners will appreciate knowing that during her years in general practice, Dr. Huffman built a reputation for compassionate, high-quality care while working alongside Dr. David Polson at Royal Ford Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Huffman is Canada’s first formally residency-trained, Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgeon, bringing more than 20 years of specialty veterinary dental and oral surgery experience to every patient she treats.

Her expertise is backed by over 25 years in small animal veterinary medicine, including experience in general practice, emergency and critical care, anesthesia, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and internal medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Huffman has been dedicated to improving the comfort, health, and quality of life of pets and the families who love them.
