After years of practice, on June 22, 1874, Dr. A.T Still became wholly confident in the principles of a healing science based on the universal truths of nature. His desire to find real answers to the causes of sickness and health arose from personal tragedy, as he was unable to save the lives of his four children and wife with conventional medicine of the 19th century.
