Ekweskeet Healing Lodge Individuals who stay for the 6 week inpatient treatment program are provided a private and spacious room of their own.

Ekweskeet Healing Lodge is a First Nations Drug and Alcohol Treatment Centre that facilitates 10 residents and offers both traditional and contemporary teachings within a beautiful, private and relaxed environment. Ekweskeet Healing Lodge also offers community and Outpatient services for individuals who are unable to commit to the 6 week inpatient treatment program due to family life or work. We a

lso assist individuals with referrals to different Treatment Centers and/or Detox Centers. We do our best to accommodate people who seek help from our agency and provide them with programs such as: the Intensive Outpatient Matrix Program, Alcoholics Anonymous, Referrals to Treatment and Outreach Program. The lodge established in 1988 and started as a co-ed program, then in 1999 the lodge was then transformed into a Youth Treatment Centre. In 2002 to current the lodge is a gender based drug & alcohol treatment program. The lodge is situated south east on the Onion Lake Cree Nation, a community that straddles the Saskatchewan Albert border. Onion Lake is located 45 minutes north of Lloydminster, SK/AB. The staff here at the Lodge is made up of caring, easy going and committed people, all with the same goal in mind and that is; Giving the individual the necessary life tools to help them live a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle.
