It’s been a good ride 30’s…

We’ve moved, had a second baby, started an amazing and rewarding business, got 3 dogs, chickens and bees, leaned HARD into my love of gardening, made friends, let go of some, lived through a global pandemic with 2 little kids, worked on myself a lot… like a lot, witnessed so many births and lots of other things.

The 30’s are without a doubt, a transformational time and I’m so okay with next number.

I see the 4-0 approaching and it doesn’t feel scary. It just feels like the next part of the ride.

Tomorrow I’m outta here for a few days unplugged.

See you on the other side!! 😁🎉

This a group of moms and babies who are in the trenches of parenting together. Whether this is your first or fourth, you are welcome here.
No judgement, no expectations, no need to apologize if you’re late or if you wear your pyjamas… just the courage to show up and trust that this group will provide exactly what you need for where you are right now.

Letting your chest passively open up can feel like freedom. It can feel hard, it can feel big or vulnerable… it can also feel like exactly what you need.

In general we have terrible posture these days between phones, computers, driving, pregnancy😉… etc.
There is a physical component for sure that can be helped with this posture but there is also an emotional component.

How much do you hold in your shoulders and chest? Is that where your anxiety hangs out? Do you have to remind yourself to take a deep breath and then remember how good it feels to do that? How long has it been since you’ve just taken a really long and slow breath and truly felt it??

Our bodies crave slowing down and giving ourselves the time to let the emotions we are holding onto move through us.

Truthfully my job is more emotional than it is physical and so this is where I often land for a nervous system reset.
It literally takes 2 minutes and some intentional deep breaths and it changes so much.

Don’t let yourself believe that you need an hour long class or 30 minutes of meditation that you can’t stand doing.
Our bodies are just asking us to pay attention and I think we owe it to them to do just that.

This can also be done during pregnancy with a few more pillows behind your upper body so you’re not laying completely flat.

I don’t have a revolutionary ending here. Just that listening to our bodies is the key to everything. ❤️
