🇫🇷🌸 Springtime in Paris at Willowbend! 🌸🇫🇷

What a beautiful afternoon spent strolling through the charm of Paris right here at home! Residents enjoyed a delightful selection of French-inspired treats, including macarons, buttery croissants, fresh strawberries, spinach & feta quiche, and refreshing raspberry lemonade.

The highlight of the afternoon was the wonderful live accordion music, which filled the room with the sounds of Paris and had everyone smiling, singing along, and reminiscing.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and to all those who helped make this event such a success. Your support, creativity, and teamwork turned an ordinary afternoon into a memorable Parisian escape.

Our 1950s themed Monthly Birthday Party was all shook up today! 🎶✨ With Paul Warren impressing everyone as Elvis Presley, the dance floor was full and the smiles were endless. Residents, guests, and staff had such a wonderful time celebrating our May birthdays and making everyone feel extra special.

A huge thank you to Paul Warren for the fantastic entertainment, our kitchen team for the delicious birthday cake, and our Activities Team for creating such a fun and memorable experience. Thank you as well to all the residents and guests who joined us and made the celebration so special! 💙🎂🕺

After a lovely outing, the Garden Club made a quick stop to pick out some beautiful new plants for the Willowbend garden from Les Serres Robert Plante Greenhouses. With a bit of planning behind the scenes and lots of great teamwork, everything is coming together perfectly, it’s going to look absolutely stunning this season! 💐✨

Our afternoon was filled with music, laughter, and dancing as residents and guests enjoyed live entertainment with Trudy. 🎶

In the evening, everyone came together for a delicious German-themed dinner shared with friends, great conversation, and warm company. 🇩🇪🍽️

We showed some appreciation for the hardworking staff with a candy bar treat table! Sometimes the smallest gestures can brighten a long shift and remind people how valued they truly are.

Day 5 of Staff Appreciation Week brought out the competitive spirit at Willowbend! 🏐🎉

Our Leadership Team vs Staff Chair Volleyball Tournament had everyone cheering, laughing, and having an amazing time, especially with our wonderful residents joining in as spectators! ❤️

To wrap up such a fun event, we all sang “We Are the Champions” together… because our Willowbend staff truly are champions every single day. 🏆

Thank you to both our leadership team and staff for being such great sports, bringing the energy, and making Willowbend such a fun and positive place to be!

While staff were singing their hearts out at Karaoke in the theatre, our residents spent the afternoon enjoying live Thursday entertainment, good conversation, and a cozy social with coffee and tasty pastries afterwards. ☕🍰

Music, laughter, and sweet treats, the perfect combination for a beautiful day at Willowbend. 💙
