A Finnish sauna isn't just about getting hot.
It's about slowing down long enough to notice how you feel.
In Finland, the sauna has always been a place to pause. Families gather there. Friends reconnect there. Some of life's biggest conversations happen there, while others simply sit together in silence. It's not a race to see who can stay the longest or withstand the highest temperature. It's about listening to your body, respecting the ritual, and finding a rhythm that leaves you feeling restored.
Every Sunday from 3:00-4:00 PM, our founder, Eric Harkonen, shares the traditions he grew up with through Sauna with a Finn.
You'll learn why löyly matters, how to approach the hot, cold and rest cycle, and the customs that have made sauna an important part of Finnish culture for generations. There are no performances or gimmicks, just an authentic experience and an opportunity to understand sauna the way it was intended.
Whether it's your first sauna or your fiftieth, you're welcome to join us.
