The Disparity: Black women are 3x more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women.

The Factor: This gap exists regardless of income or education level, pointing directly to systemic disparities in quality of care.

The Hope: Experts estimate that over 80% of maternal deaths are preventable with timely, culturally competent care.
