"Suddenly I realized how much hair I was losing."

For C, that moment came in the shower.

She noticed more hair between her fingers than she'd ever seen before—and like so many people experiencing hair loss, increased shedding, or hair thinning, she wasn't sure what was happening or where to turn.

Today, we're honoured to share Chapter 1 of her journey with her permission. Every journey has a beginning.

For C, it was the moment she realized she was losing far more hair than she'd ever seen before.

She remembers standing in the shower, looking at the hair between her fingers, and feeling devastated. If you've ever experienced unexpected hair loss or increased shedding, you may understand just how emotional that moment can be.

With her permission, we're honoured to begin sharing her story. She has chosen to remain anonymous, but hopes that by sharing her experience, someone else facing hair loss will feel less alone and know there are people ready to listen.

At Capital Head Spa & Hair, every consultation begins with a conversation. We believe understanding your story is just as important as understanding your scalp. Through personalized trichology consultations and scalp analysis, we work with each guest to understand the factors contributing to their concerns and develop an individualized treatment plan.

By the end of today's conversation, Carmen begins to suspect Telogen Effluvium—a common form of hair shedding that many people have never heard of.
