This is a reminder that the people that matter the most are the people that know us and we know the most. They are the ones that we need to have mutual support with, respect, consideration, compromise and a safe space with. The ones we can be vulnerable with.
If you don't feel you have the tools that encompass the above or grew up in an unhealthy environment where your coping mechanisms perhaps are harmful to you or others, you can learn differently. You can rewire a lot of those maladaptive processes. It takes practice and to have the right support system.
Therapy can be a good place to start working on those systems needed.
