A message from the Partners of Canoe Bay.

First of all please accept our best wishes. We hope that this message finds you healthy and safe during this unprecedented time.

As you are aware, the arrival of COVID-19 has hurt businesses across our country. The National Capital Region and Canoe Bay have not been immune. While the impact has caused a delay in our plans, the partners of Canoe Bay and our project team remain fully committed to the project and continue to work diligently behind the scenes to ensure the community that we envisioned, one that you have shown such enthusiastic support for, becomes a reality.

As the economy opens up and the national financial outlook improves, we remain confident that this current delay will be brief and activity on the project site will once again resume in earnest.

We would like to thank you for your support throughout this journey. We attribute the success of Canoe Bay to date to those who believe in what it represents, the quality of life, experiences, and lifestyle it will provide for our residents, and the positive impact it will have on the community.

While physically distancing, so many are decluttering their homes. This is a great time to start thinking about downsizing... what you want to keep, give away, discard, and of course where do you want to live. Soon you will be able to visit us in our Experience Centre and reserve your preferred apartment or purchase your new home. We absolutely cannot wait to share our experience center with you!

Did we mention we have included a heated saltwater pool at Canoe Bay? With free swim, family swim, swim trainer and aqua-fit classes for Canoe Bay residents, there is something for everyone who loves the water. Plus the temperature will always be comfortable!

Any runners in our midst here at Canoe Bay? I am certain we will have running, walking, jogging, and all of the sorts groups in our community.

Researchers found that the benefits were greatest in runners who were older and slower.

One of the greatest signs of spring here in Ottawa is the Tulip Festival. Unfortunately, the events are canceled this year but that will not stop beautiful tulips from blooming! They will even be going virtual!!

The Canadian Tulip Festival is urging flower-lovers not to visit Commissioners Park next month — but instead enjoy a virtual version of the annual floral showcase.
