And what an adventure it has been so far!
It was hard to choose from the many thousands of pictures in my cloud… and really, nothing could ever do justice to what it’s been like—day by day, and as a whole.
We’ve lived it, hated it, loved it. Are there some things that I would change?
Of course 🙄.
We’ve made huge decisions and long-lasting plans, set objectives, achieved some, missed others, and made just about every mistake in the book.
But somehow, through all of it, we kept moving forward.
There were moments of uncertainty, moments of growth, moments when we felt unstoppable, and moments when we wondered what on earth we were doing. We learned lessons the hard way, celebrated victories that seemed impossible at the time, and discovered strengths we didn’t know we had.
Looking back, I realize that the imperfections are what make the journey meaningful. The setbacks, detours, and unexpected turns became part of the story. They shaped who we are today.
And while the photos capture smiles, milestones, and memories, they can’t capture the late nights, the difficult conversations, the sacrifices, the resilience, or the countless little moments in between that made it all worthwhile.
So here’s to the journey so far—the beautiful chaos of it all. The wins, the losses, the lessons, and the memories.
I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.
