Our therapists are Mandie Robertson and Kyli Robertson. We focus on treating a number of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, trauma, depression, stress, anxiety, career issues, self-esteem, grief, couples and relationship struggles, parenting, and perinatal issues. We also offer services tailored to meet the needs of new parents. We hope to allow individuals experiencing difficul

ties in the pre/post natal stages (i.e. anxiety about pregnancy/parenthood, postpartum depression, relationship difficulties) to access support. Through a client-centred approach, we support our clients in identifying and working through their challenges. Our office is conveniently located at the south end of Merivale Road. Fully accessible with ample free parking available on site. We understand that making the choice to engage in counselling can be intimidating. We welcome any questions you may have regarding our services and the counselling process.

With back-to-school season just around the corner, there is a lot of excitement but there can also be stress, anxiety, and new pressures for both the kids and adults. 📚💛

New routines, social expectations, busy schedules, and the transition back to school can feel overwhelming for the whole family. Therapy can provide a safe space to work through those feelings, make the adjustment a little easier, and start the school year off right.

We all carry stories—about who we are, what we’ve been through, and what we believe we deserve. Sometimes those stories are shaped by pain, trauma, or experiences that weren’t within our control.

Therapy offers a space to gently explore those narratives and begin to rewrite them. It’s not about ignoring the past, but understanding it in a new way—one that gives you back your voice, your power, and your sense of choice.

You are not defined by what happened to you. With the right support, you can create a story rooted in strength, growth, and possibility. đź’›

Postpartum Mental Health Matters👩🏽‍🍼

The postpartum period can be filled with joy, but it can also bring unexpected challenges. Between caring for a new baby, recovering physically, navigating hormonal changes, and adjusting to a new identity, many parents find this transition overwhelming.

While the “baby blues” are common in the first few weeks, ongoing feelings of sadness, anxiety, irritability, emotional numbness, or difficulty bonding with your baby may be signs that extra support is needed.

The good news? Postpartum mental health challenges are highly treatable. Therapy, medical support, and practical coping strategies can make a significant difference in helping you feel more like yourself again.

You don’t have to wait until things feel unmanageable to reach out for help. Taking care of your mental health is an important part of caring for your family. 💙

Therapy offers a safe space for teens to talk openly, learn to manage stress, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.

If you or a teen you care about could use extra support, we are here to help. Our compassionate team would be honoured to support you.
