✨ A Moment to Pause ✨

In the midst of our busy lives, it's easy to move through the day without noticing what our bodies are communicating.

Each week, we invite you to pause with a simple reflection—an opportunity to become curious, explore your own experience, and reconnect with yourself.

There are no right or wrong answers. Just an invitation to notice.

Wishing you moments to pause, reflect, and reconnect this week. 💙

We're grateful when clients trust us with their care—and even more grateful when they take the time to share their experience.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. 💙

The Straightjacket

Imagine wearing a straightjacket.

You still know how to raise your arms.

You simply can't.

Your muscles haven't forgotten.

Your brain hasn't forgotten.

The movement is still there.

The restriction has changed what's possible.

Sometimes fascial restrictions can feel a little like that.

Not because the body has forgotten how to move...

But because it has adapted to move differently.

The body still carries incredible wisdom.

It still knows how to breathe.

How to move.

How to adapt.

Sometimes it simply needs more freedom to express what has always been there.

This is one of the reasons I love Myofascial Release.

Rather than forcing movement, we work to reduce restrictions within the fascial system—helping restore space, adaptability, and flow.

When that happens, movement often begins to emerge naturally.

Not because the body has learned something new...

But because it finally has the freedom to express what it has always known.

💙

Every body tells a different story.

✨ A Moment to Pause ✨

Breathing is something we do without thinking.

This week, simply become curious.

Notice your breath throughout the day.

Does your inhale feel easier?

Or does your exhale?

There is no right or wrong answer—only an opportunity to become more aware of how your body is responding in this moment.

Wishing you moments to pause, reflect, and reconnect this week. 💙

After nearly 10 years in this space, it's time for the next chapter.

When I opened the doors to Fascial Connections, I dreamed of creating more than a clinic. I wanted to create a place where people felt seen, supported, and cared for through every stage of their journey.

Over the past decade, this space has held thousands of treatments, countless conversations, moments of healing, laughter, tears, and growth. I will always be grateful for everything these walls have witnessed.

As many of you know, this fall Fascial Connections will be moving into a new space, thoughtfully and functionally designed to support the continued evolution of our work. This move reflects where our vision is heading while allowing this space to become the beginning of someone else's story.

If you, or someone you know, has been looking for a beautiful professional space to grow or relocate a business, I'd love for you to take a look.

Whether you're expanding, starting something new, or searching for the right location to bring your vision to life, this space has so much to offer.

I've included the commercial listing below. If someone comes to mind, I would truly appreciate you sharing it.

Thank you for being part of the first 10 years. I can't wait to welcome you into what's next.

The Rock

There are moments in our lives that quietly shape who we become.

Not because someone teaches us something.

But because we experience something we carry with us forever.

Years ago, after completing John F. Barnes Myofascial Release III – Beyond Technique in Sedona, I unexpectedly found myself with one more day before returning home.

At the time, I wasn't happy about it.

I thought my plans had been disrupted.

Looking back now, I believe I was exactly where I needed to be.

I climbed across the rocks until I found one that simply felt right.

I sat.

And I listened.

The water rushed around me.

It didn't stop because the rocks were in its way.

It simply flowed.

Finding another path.

As I sat there, something inside me became incredibly still.

For the first time...

I felt what it was like to be grounded.

I wasn't thinking about where I had been.

Or where I was going.

I was simply...

there.

Watching the water.

Feeling its movement.

Feeling its energy.

And somehow...

I felt as though I had become the rock.

Steady.

Present.

Unmoving while life flowed all around me.

That week, I came home to myself.

I still return to that moment whenever I need to remember what it feels like to come home again.

Over the years, I've often reflected on that afternoon.

Not because I want to go back to Sedona.

But because it reminds me that being grounded doesn't mean life stops moving around us.

It means discovering the place within ourselves that remains steady while everything else continues to flow.

Our bodies are remarkably similar.

Life changes us.

It shapes us.

It asks us to adapt.

Sometimes healing isn't about changing the river.

Sometimes it's about rediscovering the quiet strength of the rock beneath us.

✨ A Moment to Pause ✨
The conversations we have with ourselves often go unnoticed.
This week, simply notice.
Notice the words.
Notice the tone.
Notice how your body responds.
Awareness isn't about changing the experience.
It's about creating the opportunity to understand it.
Wishing you moments to pause, reflect, and reconnect this week. 💙

Ten years ago, Fascial Connections opened its doors with one simple hope…

To create a place where people felt safe.

Safe to be heard.

Safe to be supported.

Safe to heal.

As I reflect on the past decade, my heart is filled with gratitude—for every patient who trusted us, every therapist and team member who helped shape our clinic, and every person who became part of the Fascial Connections community.

Today, I’ve shared a very personal letter celebrating the first ten years of Fascial Connections and reflecting on the exciting next chapter ahead.

While there are still a few final details to complete before I can share everything, I look forward to taking you along as this next chapter unfolds.

Thank you for allowing Fascial Connections to become far more than a clinic.

You helped make it a community.

💙 Tara
