Elim provides counselling for a wide range of mental health issues and other challenges. The services are provided by therapists who hold at least a master’s degree in counselling and have been certified by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association or other equivalent professional body. Psalms 64:1-2
"Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; Preserve my life from dread of the enemy. Hide me from the secret counsel of evildoers, From the tumult of those who do iniquity."

Lord you are our Shield and Refuge; the God who arms us with strength and make our way perfect. Lord hear the cries of our hearts today, and the cries of all your people who are hurting especially by the hands of the enemy.

Lord grant us deliverance; give us protection and preserve our lives from the wicked ones. Guide us with your Spirit Lord, and help us to be vigilant at all times, and not to be ignorant of the devices of the enemy. May your peace be with us wherever we go, and may your mercy and grace overflow us.

Lord hide us, our families, friends and loved ones under the shadows of your wings. Guard our minds from harmful instruction, and grant us spiritual discernment to recognize the things that are evil; and make us strong and courageous in the presence of danger.

Thank you Lord for hearing and answering our prayers; thank you for the angels that you will assign to watch over us, so we may experience your peace today, knowing O Lord, that our lives are in your hands. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Whether it's relational struggles, internal fears, or unseen spiritual battles, we’re reminded that we can seek God's refuge, trusting that He sees what we cannot see and will protect us from harm whether physical, emotional, or spiritual.

We’re also encouraged to turn to God as our ultimate judge and protector, trusting that He will intervene when people plot iniquity. Let’s bring our fears to God and find refuge in His presence.

“In my distress I called to the LORD; I called out to my God. He heard my voice from his temple, and my cry entered his ears."

Our Father and our God, we praise you and we thank you for being the One true and Living God, who sits high and look low; you show no partiality nor take bribes. You see all our afflictions, our worries and fears; and we thank you Lord, that when we call upon you in our distress; you will hear and answer us.

Lord our burdens are heavy; the help we need cannot be found in us, nor other gods. You are our only hope; our help, our refuge, strength and our deliverer. Hear the cries of all your children today O Lord and help.

We are trusting in you Lord, for we know that you care deeply about us. May the words of our mouth and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in your sight, O Lord our strength and Redeemer. In Jesus matchless name we pray. Amen.

We’re encouraged as believers to cry out to God in our distress and turn to Him in our troubles and know that no situation is too small or too big for God to handle.

Our Lord not only hears but answers, offering us the hope and assurance that God’s presence and intervention are available even in our most trying moments. So let’s trust in God’s faithfulness and lean on Him as the ultimate source of help and comfort.

John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Merciful Father, we honour you and give you all the glory, honour and praise. Lord, as we begin this new day, we ask that you will remove everything that is in our way, that was not ordered by you.

Help us Lord Jesus, to keep our eyes on you; to keep strong in our faith, and to trust you in all circumstances, and in your ability to provide us with great peace that can only come from you. Fill us with your Spirit Lord, and help us to be still and know that you are God, you are in control; and whatever you promised to do, it will be well done.

Lord give us wisdom to discern good and evil; open our hearts of understanding and help us to make decisions that are in alignment with your will and plans. Renew a right spirit within us Lord, and fill our hearts with the desire to seek after your truth and righteousness, more than anything in this world.

Today Lord we pray for all around peace, protection and blessings upon our lives, our families, friends and love ones, and show us how to be a blessing to others for your greater glory. Lord, be near us; keep us encouraged and cover us under the shadows of your wings. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Let’s believe Jesus when he says, “come” and know that we don’t have to fix it all first. Just come. May your heart be at peace. The peace that will surpass your understanding, especially if you are going through a storm, for Jesus has already overcome your troubles.

Isaiah 25:1
"Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago."

Precious Lord we exalt you; we praise you, and we give you thanks this morning. Lord, with all our hearts, we will tell of all your wonderful deeds. You O Lord, shield, strengthen and fight for us. It is you Lord, who show us the way in which we should go.

Faithful God, we honour and praise you because your love for us is better than life itself. We praise you for all that you have done for us your children. We thank you for all that you have prepared ahead for us; for all that you have protected us from; and for your promise that you will always be with us; to fight our battles for us, and sustain us.

Today Lord in your great mercy, we ask that you will go before us, our families, friends and love ones and make every crooked paths straight. Do for us Lord, what we cannot do for ourselves, or no other gods can do for us.

You O Lord, have done it before, and we trust and believe that you will perfect everything concerning us today, and all the days ahead. Lead and direct us now, by your Holy Spirit; work in us, and through us Lord, and may your name be glorified forever more, as we honour you and give you thanks. In Jesus matchless name we pray. Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Our Father Sustainer and our Deliverer, we glorify and honour you this morning. We praise you and exalt you above all else today Lord, for it is from you our help comes from. We thank you Lord, for your grace and mercies that brought us this far. We thank you for your faithfulness, your unfailing love and compassion for all of us.

Lord today, we are standing on your promises that you will perfect everything concerning us. You tell us Lord, we should call upon you and trust you with all our hearts. You say we should not be afraid, neither be dismayed, because you will uphold us with your righteous right hand.

Lord by the power of your grace; we are believing in you for a mighty breakthrough, restoration; healing, deliverance, uncommon favours, blessings and peace that comes only from you. Hear our prayers today O Lord. May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in your sight, O Lord our strength and our redeemer. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Let us trust in God’s constant presence even when we face emotional valleys, such as deep grief, fear, or personal struggles and knowing that He is with us in those moments can give us the courage to face the day.

If we’re facing any health crisis, we can be reassured that even in those darkest moments, God's presence offers comfort, even when the future seems uncertain.

So let’s hold on to the deep peace that comes from trusting that God is with us, guiding us, and protecting us through it all.🙏Have a great Monday!!

"Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!"

Loving Father and our God, we thank you today for the life you have given us. We thank you Lord, that you have given us life through your son Jesus Christ and that the Holy Spirit dwells within us. So today Lord we ask that you will breathe new life and hope into our hearts, spirit and every areas of our lives that have been long dead.

Lord we pray that your will, will be done in us, and through us, and that you will restore what is to be restored. We trust and believe in you Lord, and all the plans you have for us, and we are confident that you who have started a good work in us, will perfect it, and bring it to completion.

Lord we thank you for your faithfulness; we thank you Lord, that you are always true to the promises you make, and that your grace and mercies will see us through to the end. Be thou magnified O Lord in your own strength, as we honour you and give you thanks. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

We’re reminded that no matter how distant we may feel from God or how deep our spiritual wounds may go, God is always ready to restore and revive. We may be experiencing the "two days" of affliction, but this is a time of reflection and waiting, but the "third day" will come which is our day of renewal, hope, and divine action.

Hence, we’re now call to trust in God's timing for renewal, knowing that even in our most desperate spiritual moments, God can bring new life.

"They will be Mine," says the Lord of Hosts, on the day when I prepare My treasured possession. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him."

Lord, we thank you that through Christ Jesus we have eternal life, and no one can sn**ch us from your hands. We thank you Lord, for your love and for being our ever present help in troubled times. You know us by names; You know the number of hairs on our heads; you made provisions for all of us and protect us from the hands of the enemy.

Everything in our lives are held together through you Lord, and we thank you. We thank you for your faithfulness, your grace and tender mercies toward us.

Lord, order our steps today; give us wisdom, a heart of understanding and help us to keep on the path that you have set before us. Lead us Lord and may your peace and blessings overflow us In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

We’re reminded that our identity and purpose are not defined by the world’s standards or by external circumstances, but by our relationship to God.

If we have accepted Christ as our Saviour, then we’re part of the priesthood with direct access to God and a role in ministering to others. So let’s live as God’s treasured people, proclaiming His greatness and reflecting His light in this dark world.

"For you know that it was not with perishable things, such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors. "

Lord we glorify you, we give you praise, and we thank you for giving us the most precious gift, your Son Christ Jesus, to die for our sins. We thank you for loving us with an everlasting love, and for not giving up on us, even when we have given up on you. Lord we are so thankful for this new day you have blessed us with, and we ask that you may heal whatever is broken in us.

Ignite our hearts with your Spirit O Lord, and lift up those who have fallen, give hope to the hopeless, help to the helpless; strength to those who are weary; healing for those who are sick and in pain. Lord, may your peace, protection, wisdom, breakthroughs and blessings be our portion today and all the days ahead.

Loving Father, in your great mercy, abide with us and sustain us, and give us the patience to wait upon you, to put all our trust in you, to do what no other gods can do. Be magnified in your own strength O Lord, as we honour you and give you thanks. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Our choices matter. Our God placed a high value on our lives, paying for them with the blood of Christ. Since God has made us able, we must now strive to earnestly show our love for Him by loving each other.

Psalms 33:13-15
"The Lord looks from heaven; he sees all the sons of men; From his dwelling place He looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all their works."

Heavenly Father, we exalt you above all else, and we give you praise, for you are the All-seeing All-knowing God who fashions every heart. Lord, you are our all in all, and we give you thanks for life, and the hope we have in you.

We thank you Lord for new mercies every morning, and for your word today, which reminds us that we are always under your watchful eyes. You know our past, present and what is in our future; you know our strength and our weaknesses; nothing can be hidden from you O Lord, and so today we ask that you will forgive us from all our sins. Change our hearts O God, and renew a right spirit within us, and draw us into a closer relationship with you.

As we seek to serve you with gladness of heart and walk in the light of your love. All to your glory and honour we pray. In Jesus name. Amen.

We’re called to live with an awareness of God's omniscient gaze and be mindful that every action, every decision, and every intention is laid bare before Him.

This truth should compel us to live with integrity, to choose righteousness, and to honour God with our lives, knowing that we are always in His sight.

Lamentations 3:22-23
" It is of the Lord mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."

Father God we give praises to your holy name, and we thank you for your loving-kindness and tender mercies toward us; for though you sit on high, you regard the lowly. You show no partiality, nor take bribes; you need no help from anyone else; for all powers belong to God alone.

Lord we thank you for your love and compassion, and your mercies that is new every morning. We thank you for your promise of new beginning; we thank you for the plans you have for us, and that you will never leave nor forsake us. Lord, help us to experience the sweetness of your grace today. May your peace and blessings be upon us, our families, friends and loved ones, and all your children who seek you.

Lord may we feel your presence near us, and may the things we do today, starts and ends with you. Show us your way Lord, so we may walk in it. Take hold of our hands and guide our feet, so we may not stumble nor fail, and protect us on every sides. Be thou magnified O Lord in your strength, as we honour you for all that you have done, and what you are about to do. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

We’re reminded that our God will always be faithful, so we don’t need to earn His love. Whenever we fall or become spiritually dry, let’s not hide in guilt, but come honestly to Him in prayer knowing that His mercy is already extended .

So let’s extend grace to ourselves and others and speak truth, “ I may not feel strong but my God is faithful 🙏.

Let’s stay faithful and if we ’re hurting, stay hopeful. Pray and give thanks to God for the opportunity to grow; ask Him to shed light, and to give us clarity in whatever situation we are facing. Have a wonderful Wednesday!!
