Looks simple until you actually try it! 😂 Turns out keeping your hands behind your back says a lot about your shoulder flexibility and posture. The MapleCare team found that out the hard way! 🤣🔥

Your turn! Can you do it? 👇😄

Not every clinical retreat is just lectures and note-taking. 😊

Ours included learning, team bonding, plenty of laughs, and a shared goal of becoming even better for the people we care for every day.

Because great rehab is not built by one person. It comes from a team that keeps learning, growing, and supporting each other behind the scenes too.

Safe to say... the team understood the assignment. 😎

Athletes love training hard. But the ones who last know how to recover smartly too. 🔥

Stretching is not just something you do for 30 seconds before a workout and forget about. It helps your body move better, recover better, and stay ready for the demands of your sport.

Better mobility. Better movement. Better performance.

Because when your body moves well, everything else feels easier. 💪

What is your favorite stretch before training?

Easier said than done! 😅 The MapleCare team took on the No-Hands Stand Up Challenge, and let’s just say it’s a lot trickier than it looks.

Beyond the laughs, this is actually a great way to check your functional mobility. It tests your lower body strength, core stability, and how well your joints move together. It’s a quick way to see how your body handles balance without using your arms as a crutch.

Now it's your turn: Can you stand up without using your hands? 🧘‍♂️✨

Try it out and let us know how you did! 👇

Stroke Awareness Month is a reminder that recovery is possible, and it often starts with small, steady progress. 🧠💙

From gait and balance rehab to hand recovery and fall prevention, physiotherapy plays a key role in helping the brain and body reconnect. Through neuroplasticity, the brain can adapt and relearn movement patterns, supporting independence and safer daily movement over time. Every step, every grip, and every shift in balance matters.

Recovery looks different for everyone, but support, consistency, and guided rehab can make a real difference.

If you or someone you know is navigating stroke recovery, we can help guide the next step. Book a visit with us and let’s build a plan that meets you where you are.

MS can affect so much more than movement. Fatigue, balance changes, coordination, and everyday tasks can become unpredictable and exhausting in ways others may not always see.

That is why awareness matters. Understanding the challenges people with MS face is the first step toward better support, safer movement, and improved quality of life.

At MapleCare, we believe movement should be safe, personalized, and paced to match each person’s needs. With the right guidance and support, physiotherapy can help improve confidence, mobility, balance, and independence through every stage of the journey.

Every small step forward matters. 🌿

Victoria Day weekend is the perfect reminder that movement doesn’t have to be intense to be beneficial. 💙

A simple walk, a few mobility breaks, or light outdoor activities can help keep your body feeling loose, energized, and pain-free.

Try to move in ways that feel good for you this weekend; your body will thank you later! 🙌

Enjoy the long weekend from all of us at MapleCare Physiotherapy. 🌿
