This Father's Day, the fathers in our Harvest House program received a special surprise thanks to the generosity of Amazon.

Amazon prepared and donated gift packages for each of the fathers currently in our program, providing a meaningful reminder that they are seen, valued, and appreciated.

For many of the men at Harvest House, Father's Day can be a time of reflection as they work to rebuild relationships and create a stronger future for themselves and their families. These thoughtful gifts brought encouragement and served as a reminder that there are people and organizations in the community who believe in them and support their journey of recovery.

Tom's journey to Harvest House began in a place he never expected.

After a surgery, he was prescribed pain medication. Over time, what started as a legitimate prescription became something much more difficult to manage.

In this clip, Tom shares how that path eventually led him to Harvest House and the moment he realized he needed help.

Every recovery journey starts somewhere. For Tom, this was the beginning of a new chapter.

For Tom, the answer was simple: “One day at a time. Just getting up, doing the routine, the little things. Every day.”

For James, his advice came from realizing recovery starts with a single decision: “You just have to make that first step and get into a program.”
