We’re always learning for you. 💙
Angela is in Toronto right now expanding her knowledge on compression and lymphedema wear, because staying current is a big part of giving our patients the best care possible.
Compression socks are not just “tight socks.” They are designed to apply gentle pressure to the legs to help support blood flow, reduce fluid build-up, and help with swelling, heaviness, aching, venous insufficiency, varicose veins, edema, and lymphedema support. A proper fit matters, because comfort and effectiveness depend on accurate measuring.
Did you know Angela measures and teaches about compression socks by appointment only?
She is in clinic Monday to Friday and can help patients understand:
What compression socks are used for
Why proper fit is so important
When they should be worn
How to put them on properly
When it may be time for a new pair
Best time to be measured?
First thing in the morning, before swelling builds throughout the day. Measurements are generally recommended when the legs are not swollen, which for most people is early morning.
Because yes, even socks need a strategy. 😉
Call the clinic to book your compression sock measuring appointment with Angela.
