Welcome Shyamal Shukla, Registered Physiotherapist! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome Shyamal Shukla, PT to the CURAVITA Glebe Clinic and our growing Community of Care!

Shyamal is a compassionate Registered Physiotherapist who takes a personalized, evidence-informed approach to helping patients restore movement, improve function, regain independence, and get back to the activities that matter most to them.

Shyamal has a particular interest in functional rehabilitation and neurological physiotherapy, with experience supporting patients with balance, mobility, and functional independence. His approach may incorporate:

• Therapeutic exercise & functional mobility training
• Manual therapy
• Balance & mobility rehabilitation
• Patient education and individualized home programs
• Acupuncture
• Dry needling
• Traditional cupping

Shyamal believes that rehabilitation works best when patients understand their care and feel empowered to take an active role in their recovery. Treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s individual goals, abilities, and lifestyle.

And we’re especially excited about Shyamal’s hours! 🙌

We’re excited to welcome three new practitioners to our CURAVITA Glebe Clinic: Nathan Dufresne, RMT, Prachi Patel, PT, and Shyamal Shukla, PT!

With our growing team, we’ve also expanded our Physiotherapy and Registered Massage Therapy hours, making it easier to find an appointment that works around work, school, family, and everything else in your day.

🎉 Welcome to CURAVITA, Prachi!

We’re excited to welcome Prachi Patel, Registered Physiotherapist, to our CURAVITA Health Group team !

Prachi is passionate about helping patients reduce pain, restore movement, build strength, and get back to doing the things they love. Her approach combines hands-on treatment, active rehabilitation, exercise, and patient education, with every treatment plan tailored to the individual.

Her clinical experience includes a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative conditions, and she has additional training in pelvic health, acupuncture, and dry needling.

Prachi believes in working collaboratively with her patients, helping them understand their bodies, feel confident in their movement, and take an active role in their recovery.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find Prachi staying active with tennis and hiking, travelling, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends. 🎾🥾✈️

We’re so happy to have her as part of our Community of Care!

This special event brings together Ottawa’s food and business communities while raising funds for YouTurn Youth Support Services, an organization providing individualized support to at-risk youth and their families across Eastern Ontario.

As part of our support, CURAVITA has donated a Health & Wellness Package to the event.

Nathan is joining the team at our Glebe Clinic and will begin seeing patients on Wednesday, September 16!

A graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Algonquin College, Nathan is passionate about helping patients move better, feel better, and reach their health and wellness goals through personalized, evidence-informed care.

His clinical interests include deep tissue massage, sports massage, scar therapy, and Swedish massage, with each treatment tailored to the individual needs and goals of his patients.

We’re thrilled to have Nathan joining the CURAVITA family and look forward to the positive impact he’ll make with our patients and team.
