Justine asked us to share her message:
I've worn this uniform for many years.
It's not Figs, not Koi, not a name brand – but it's been with me through some of the hardest and most meaningful moments of my career.
It was there as I held hands when residents passed, and when I sat with families who just needed guidance, comfort, or someone to truly listen.
It stood beside me while supporting coworkers, teaching, mentoring, and preceptoring the next generation.
I also wore it at numerous Remembrance Day ceremonies to commemorate our Veterans – moments of reflection, gratitude, and respect that I will always carry with me.
This uniform became more than fabric – it carries memories of care, loss, compassion, and connection.
After 35 years in nursing, I'm hanging it up.
I'm proud of what I've done and the lives I've been honoured and privileged to touch.
Here's to the next chapter.
