Hungry or thirsty?💧🍽️
Sometimes we eat when we’re actually thirsty. Sometimes we reach for a drink when our body really needs food. Both are completely normal and neither deserves judgment.
When your electrolytes (especially sodium) are low, your body can feel fatigued, foggy, and low on energy. Those sensations can sometimes be confused with hunger, making it harder to interpret your body’s cues.
Learning to tell the difference isn’t about following food rules or trying to eat “perfectly.” It’s about building body awareness, reconnecting with your hunger and fullness cues, and developing a more trusting relationship with food.
The goal isn’t to get it right every time. The goal is curiosity, not judgment.
