💙 Meet ToeFX® ClearToe Light Therapy!

We’re excited to introduce a new service at Becky & Co. Medical Foot Care designed specifically for the treatment of fungal toenails.

ToeFX ClearToe combines a specialized serum with LED light therapy. During your appointment, your Registered Nurse will assess and prepare the affected nail(s), reduce thickened nail where appropriate, apply the ClearToe serum and position the ToeFX light over the treatment area.

Over the next couple of months, we’re adding something a little different to our Saturday posts — a Did You Know? | Foot Care Nurse Edition!

These posts are dedicated to new and experienced foot care nurses, as well as nurses and students just beginning their Advanced Foot Care journey, who want to dive a little deeper, refresh their knowledge and maybe learn something new along the way.

We’ll be talking about the things that go beyond simply doing foot care — assessment, clinical judgment, IPAC and sterilization, documentation, diabetic foot screening, nail and skin conditions, offloading, referrals, conservative treatment and so much more.

Because the longer I work in Advanced Foot Care — and especially as I’ve started teaching other nurses — the more I realize there is always something more to learn. And sometimes the smallest pieces of knowledge can make a big difference in how we practice.
