🔨 PROGRESS UPDATE: The new studio is starting to look like a studio! ✨

We have been busy behind the scenes over here in Osgoode, and things are moving fast. Here’s what we’ve knocked out on the garage transformation:

Floor framing & insulation: No cold toes during Savasana this winter! ❄️➡️🧘‍♀️

Sub-floor installed: A solid, level foundation for all our future flows.

Fresh paint: Primed and painted in calm, grounding tones.

Blown-in attic insulation: Creating a cozy cocoon for the chillier months ahead.

It is wild seeing this vision come to life step by step, and I am getting so excited to welcome you all in this September.

🛠️ BIG NEWS, OSGOODE! The secret is officially out… 🤫✨

For the last year and a half, I’ve had the absolute joy of welcoming you into my home to breathe, stretch, and connect. Because of your incredible support, our little community has officially outgrown our current space!

So, we are leveling up!

Right now, we are hard at work transforming our garage into a beautiful, dedicated yoga sanctuary. No more squeezing mats—come September, you’ll have a brand-new, spacious studio to call home right here in Osgoode.

☀️ Summer Solstice Yin Yoga 🧘‍♀️✨

Long holds and deep breaths to ground your summer energy. 🌱🌬️

The Summer Solstice reflects the element of fire🔥—associated with the heart, expansion, and outward energy. It is incredibly easy to feel scattered or burnt out by this seasonal intensity. 🫠

When the external world is moving this fast, our sympathetic nervous system can easily get stuck in overdrive, leaving us feeling overstimulated and ungrounded. 🌀 This Yin practice is our antidote. 🕊️

We are going to create a safe container to soften, cool down, and compress. Through long, passive holds and deep, conscious breathing, we will stimulate the vagus nerve—the body’s natural brake pedal. 🧘‍♂️💤 As our muscles fully disengage, we are able to target the cooler, deeper architecture of our physical form: the fascia, ligaments, and joints. 🦴🤍

This practice aims to leave you feeling entirely rooted, deeply nourished, and completely anchored in your nervous system. 🌳🌊

Happy May Everyone! 🌳🌷🪺

As the world outside turns a vivid, electric green, it’s easy to feel that same surge of energy within ourselves. In the yogic tradition, spring is the season of Prana (life force) in its most expansive form. We are waking up, reaching out, and moving faster.

However, with all that upward and outward growth, it’s very easy to feel a little unmoored. This month, our practice is all about balanced expansion. While we honor the urge to grow and bloom, we’re also going to focus on the roots that keep us steady.

Whether you’re feeling ready to conquer the world or just trying to keep up with the changing pace, I invite you to step onto your mat this month to find your own middle ground.
