At Thorncliffe Place, it's these everyday moments that make our community so special.

💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙

We had such a blast celebrating the amazing fathers in our home with a delicious BBQ, great company, and lots of smiles. From sizzling favourites on the grill to shared laughs around the table, it was a wonderful way to honour the men who mean so much to our community.

Thank you to all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures for the love, wisdom, and joy you bring every day; today, we celebrate you! 🥩🌭✨

The Far West Fun Fest from the Kanata Seniors Centre made it to Thorncliffe!

It has been an Annual Tradition to host our friends for a Cribbage Tourney!

Thank you to the dedicated volunteers from the Kanata Seniors Council for organizing another successful year of fun!

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) for a powerful performance of Women of Canada.

Through storytelling and theatre, the play highlighted the life of a remarkable Canadian woman who courageously stood up for women’s rights — advocacy that helped shape the history of our country. It was both inspiring and moving, sparking reflection, conversation, and pride in the progress made possible by strong women.

Our residents truly enjoyed this enriching experience and the opportunity to connect with an important chapter of Canada’s past. Thank you to CFUW for sharing such an impactful performance with our community. 💐
