Who Cares for the Caregiver?

Caring for someone you love—your parent, your partner, your child—can be one of the most meaningful things we do. It can also be exhausting in ways people don’t always see.

When you’re the one providing the care, it can be hard to find time for your own well-being. Appointments, sleepless nights, constant responsibility… even the thought of going out for self-care can feel like too much.

Over the years, both as a former doula and now through my massage practice, I’ve seen how much caregivers carry. Again and again, I meet people who are giving so much of themselves—and who rarely get the chance to refill their own well.

Massage can help with that.

Even a short session can help the body shift out of “running on adrenaline” mode. It’s also a rare moment where the caregiver gets to receive care instead of providing it. That simple experience—being looked after for a little while—can be incredibly grounding.

Because getting out of the house isn’t always easy, I created the Caregiver’s Massage Membership. It’s designed to be simple, accessible, and realistic for people with full schedules.

Sessions are done seated at your kitchen table using a chair and pillows—no full table setup needed. That means less time setting up and more time actually receiving care.

Membership options include:
• Two or four sessions per month
• 30- or 45-minute sessions
• A consistent time set aside just for you

Members also receive access to my “Meditation for People Who Suck at Meditation” online group—a short, relaxed daily practice for building resilience (with zero pressure to attend).
