Would you like the chance to be published in ONWA’s Strong Hands Stop Violence Poetry Book, Volume 10?

ONWA invites Indigenous poets, storytellers, writers, and spoken word artists across Ontario to submit their work. This Poetry Book highlights the strength, resilience, and voices of Indigenous women while raising awareness about violence against Indigenous women and girls.

Bring the family out for an evening of fun, laughter, and community at our Family Movie Nights this June!

Join us on June 19 and June 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Gathering Centre for a family-friendly movie experience. Popcorn and drinks will be available while you enjoy a great movie with family and friends.

Join us for a Concho Belt & Breastplate Making Class on June 20th at the Wasauksing School Gym!

This hands-on workshop is for participants who have not previously attended a belt-making workshop with Paulette Aiabens. Participants will learn the process of creating their own concho belt or breastplate in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.

Date: June 20th
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Wasauksing School Gym
