Have you ever experienced a place on Earth that feels like a portal?

A place that intrigues you and draws you in, but somehow doesn't feel entirely of this place?

Between these two trees feels like that to me.

It is a place I will sit with intention. A place I come to ask for support, to listen, and to move through things that feel big.

I don't frequent this spot often, but when I do, it is intentional.

There is something about certain places that seems to hold a different energy. A different quality of presence.

Maybe you have a place like that too.

Somewhere you feel drawn to without necessarily knowing why.

Have you experienced a place that feels like this? 🪞

It was such an honour to receive this beautiful tapestry to commemorate Duke.

Alexa Linton created such a beautiful piece, and you can see the care, attention, and thought that went into every part of it.

There is something really special about having a physical piece that holds the essence and memory of my boy. We searched for so long to find what felt right.

I have been so excited to share this with you all, and I am incredibly grateful to have something so beautiful to remember Duke by.

If you are looking for a meaningful way to honour and commemorate a beloved horse, I highly recommend reaching out to Alexa and exploring what she might create for you.

There is so much heart in the pieces she makes, and I feel very grateful to have one of her creations in my space. 🤍

Unpopular opinion: I believe a huge part of learning Animal Communication is struggling.

Many programs and courses would have you believe that Animal Communication is only done one way.

They teach a system. A process. An understanding of how it works.

And while I absolutely believe there are skills we can learn and areas we can stretch into, I don't believe there is one universal way that everyone communicates with animals.

I believe we need to discover how we uniquely do it.

That means there has to be room for trial and error.

For questioning what you're receiving.
For getting it wrong.
For not knowing.
For trying something different.

Because part of becoming an Animal Communicator is learning to recognize how information already comes to you.

What do you notice first?
What does information feel like in your body?
What do you hear, see, sense, or simply know?

You don't necessarily discover those things by being given the answer.

Sometimes you discover them by struggling a little.

By experimenting.
By getting curious.
By finding your own way.

I don't think the goal is to become a perfect Animal Communicator.

I think the goal is to develop a relationship with your own way of receiving so that you learn to trust what you are uniquely receiving.

When I open the channel of communication and connect with an animal, the information I receive is being channelled through me, rather than coming from within me.

Because of this, when I close the channel, I don't retain the information that came forward in the same way I would if I were having a direct conversation with someone.

What I do always remember is the energy and essence of each animal.

I might not remember all of the information that came through, but I will remember the energy of that animal. It becomes familiar to me from then on.

There are also certain things that may stay with me longer than others.

Key moments.
Information or wisdom that feels significant.
Something that feels wise beyond my own conceptual understanding.

Those experiences tend to stay with me longer than the rest.

While I would love to remember all of the details of every session I hold, I also take pride in the fact that I don't.

To me, it is part of what allows me to remain a neutral channel for your animal's messages, rather than carrying their information with me after the connection has closed.

And I think that is an important layer of my work.

If you were to connect with Adi for just 30 seconds…

What would you receive?

What would she say to you?

What wisdom might she have for you?

And if you gave yourself those 30 seconds to simply breathe with her, how would you feel afterward?

Can you give yourself 30 seconds to just be?

To feel her connection to you.

To receive whatever she may be offering.

To feel the invitation to land in yourself, just a little more.

We gently invite you to take the 30 seconds and see what you notice.

Two months ago, we said our goodbyes to Lilo as we knew her in this lifetime.

It was a process and a decision that wasn't easy.

I know she touched many people's lives. Whether it was through an Animal Communication class or knowing her in the physical, she brought light and joy to so many.

I remember thinking, just a week before she transitioned, how excited I was that she volunteered to teach in the last round of Animal Intuitive. She hadn't volunteered herself for the last couple of rounds of the course, but she chose to be in that one.

What feels so special about this, and about my journey with her, is that she came with me to my classes when I was first learning Animal Communication.

She sat with the group, allowed people to practice with her, and brought a smile to so many faces.

It feels synchronistic to me that she saw me through this entire journey, right into teaching this work myself.

I launched Animal Translation, my full Animal Communication training, and not even a month later, we were saying goodbye to her in an emergency situation…

Animal Translation is full of her energy.

She is the face of the program. It was her picture I felt drawn to use in creating the course, and she sat with me long into the nights as I built it.

Saying goodbye is never easy.

And when we are living and navigating life, we don't always understand why things unfold the way they do.

But it is through reflection that I am beginning to see all of the ties and connections Lilo was (and still is) creating in my life.

Realizing that she quite literally walked this entire path with me, and said goodbye on the horizon of my stepping into this work in a new way, is something I carry deeply within my heart.

And I will continue to remain open to the signs, the synchronicities, and the ways she continues to make herself known.

Timing and alignment are interesting things. Something I continue to be shown and remember… Even in grief.

A name is so much more than what we call another being.

Names carry energy.
They carry frequency.
They carry meaning and intention.

When we name an animal, we are choosing a word that they will hear, respond to, and be identified by throughout their life with us.

I think there is something really beautiful about taking the time to understand what an animal wants their name to hold, rather than assuming that the name we choose for them is simply a reflection of what we like.

Especially when an animal is new to our family, there can be so much to discover about who they are, where they have come from, and who they are becoming.
Their name can become part of that discovery.

Sometimes the right name reveals itself through the relationship, through listening, and through allowing them to have a say in how they are represented in the world.

What does your animal's name hold for them?

A little more about who Animal Intuitive is for and what you can expect from this experience. 🤍

If you’ve been thinking about joining but have been wondering, “Is this really for me?”, I hope this video helps.

There are still spots available for our next round, beginning August 27th.

Maybe this is your invitation to explore đź©·

I’m so grateful for the beautiful words shared by one of the students from a previous round of Animal Intuitive. 🤍

It is such an honour to witness the confidence and trust that can grow when we give ourselves the space to explore our intuitive abilities.

Thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey.

There are times when I will be living life, whether it's in a parking lot, on a pet-friendly patio, or meeting someone's animal for the first time, when an animal might be trying to connect with me quite obviously.

I can notice that without choosing to open the channel.

Just because I have this ability doesn't mean I am constantly receiving from animals.

I have boundaries for myself, and boundaries for them.

This isn't something that I have “turned on” all the time. I have worked for years to hone the skill of being able to disconnect from that ability in situations and times where it isn't appropriate.

And yet, there are still times when an animal is quite loud and adamant in their ask.

They can feel the energy of the connection.
They can feel the frequency of being heard.

And while not all animals are this way, some feel they have important things to share. Some are excitable and chatty. And some simply want a space to be heard.

At times, it can be hard to hold a boundary in these situations.

It doesn't always feel good to know that an animal wants to share something and yet I choose not to open that space.

And sometimes, communication still slips in.

But I think it's important to remember that just because I can doesn't mean that it's ethical that I do.

And not every animal wants to be communicated with.

Some would prefer not to connect, and that matters too.

Communication isn't something I believe we are entitled to simply because we have the ability to access it.

To me, having the ability to connect also means having the discernment to know when not to.
