September is Su***de Prevention Month, a vital time to connect, look out for one another, and open up life-saving conversations about mental health.
At the Canadian Mental Health Association South Okanagan Similkameen Branch (CMHA), we believe that no one should have to walk through their darkest moments alone.
This month, we encourage everyone to learn the warning signs, reach out to loved ones, and help break the stigma that surrounds su***de.
By fostering safe spaces and offering compassionate support, we can build a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.
Contact the local office directly at 250-493-8999 for community resources, educational programs, and mental health advocacy.
