A gentle reminder that it's a patient's responsibility to monitor medication supply and ensure that requests for refills or appropriate arrangements are made well before medication runs out. Running out of medication can impact care and may result in delays, particularly if requests are made at short notice.

We encourage you to check your supply regularly and contact our office or your pharmacy in advance to avoid any interruptions.

There's always the option to make a renewal request via voicemail or on our website. This does incur a fee as OHIP does not cover Rx renewals without an appointment, but often times requests can be processed more quickly this way.

As always, if you have questions about your medications or need assistance planning ahead, please do not hesitate to speak with your physician.
