In 2024, I traveled to Kyoto, Japan to learn the Eastern practice of Komyo ReikiDo from Sensei Inamoto.

These are a few photos from our hike up Mt. Karuma, the birthplace of Reiki. 🙏✨️

The experience has brought depth to my personal Reiki practice and I'm so honoured to now share these teachings with others. If you are called to Reiki or would like more information please reach out, I'd be happy to discuss.

Komyo ReikiDo Shoden (Level 1)

Wednesday, November 18th, 2026: 10am - 3pm

This foundational training introduces students to the history and lineage of Reiki Ryoho, the philosophy of Komyo ReikiDo and the Five Principles that guide the practice. Students will learn basic techniques for offering treatments to themselves, individuals and groups while developing a deeper understanding of Reiki as both a healing practice and a way of life. Students will receive four Reiju (attunements), a professional manual, and ongoing follow up support.

Duration: 5 hours
Investment: $200 + HST

The next winter kids' yoga workshop is themed Animal Adventures!

This action packed hatha yoga class will incorporate intentional breathwork paired with yoga poses. Kids will use their breath to help guide them through sequences, help support balancing poses and bring awareness to the body. We will begin and end class with guided meditations featuring different animals.

During our Reiki sessions today we could feel such a beautiful energy of expansion. Knowing we are deeply connected and held in something greater.

Why Reiki?

Improved intuition.

This season I've seen an abundance of squaking blue jays. Sometimes at our bird feeder, sometimes in the maple bush and other times flying around playing in the backyard.

I've been wondering what their symbolism is. It turns out they are "a sign to trust your intuition, use your voice, and stay true to your convictions". A fitting message from such a vocal bird!

If you are intuitively guided to explore Reiki for the first time or book in for a much needed reset, I'm offering a handful of winter sessions at The Root Studio in Perth on February 15 & March 15!
