“Why do I hate myself?”

It’s one of the hardest questions to ask, and one that many people quietly struggle with.

Self-hatred rarely appears overnight. It often begins with self-doubt, perfectionism, comparison, or a critical inner voice that becomes louder over time. Eventually, these thoughts can feel like facts, even when they aren’t.

The truth? Your thoughts are not your identity. 💙

Book Review:

Tayari Jones delivers a beautifully written, emotionally rich novel that explores the complexities of friendship, motherhood, identity, and belonging. Readers and critics have praised Kin for its compelling characters, nuanced storytelling, and vivid portrayal of life in the American South. Jones balances heartbreak with moments of warmth and humour, creating a story that lingers long after the final page. The novel's exploration of chosen family and enduring female friendship has resonated deeply with readers, making it a standout literary fiction title and a deserving Oprah's Book Club selection. Kin is both poignant and unforgettable.

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to truly rest?

In a world that celebrates constant productivity, rest isn't something you have to earn. It's an important part of caring for your mental and emotional well-being.

Learn how each type of rest affects burnout, stress, and everyday exhaustion, and how to figure out what kind of rest your mind and body are really asking for here:

What would your ideal reset day look like?

Imagine a day when you didn't have to rush, perform, or carry the weight of everything on your shoulders.

🌿 Maybe it starts with sleeping in.
☕ A slow morning with your favourite coffee.
📖 Time to read, journal, or simply sit in silence.
🚶‍♀️ A walk outside without checking your phone.
💛 Saying "no" to obligations that leave you feeling drained.

Your version of a reset day doesn't have to be productive; it just has to help you reconnect with yourself.

Take a few moments to reflect on today's journal prompt, and if you can, choose one day this month to make it happen. Even small moments of rest and intention can make a meaningful difference.

We'd love to hear from you: What's one thing that would be part of your ideal reset day?

Sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing what's wrong, it's not knowing why you feel the way you do.

You might be keeping up with work, showing up for the people you love, and checking everything off your to-do list... yet something still feels different.

That feeling doesn't always have an obvious cause.

Stress can build gradually. Emotions can go unprocessed. Burnout doesn't always look like complete exhaustion.

Instead of asking, "What's wrong with me?" try asking:
✨ What has changed?
✨ What have I been carrying?
✨ What might I need right now?

Small moments of reflection can reveal patterns we don't notice when we're constantly moving.

Our blog explores why this feeling can happen, what may be contributing to it, and how to better understand what your mind and body may be trying to tell you.

Feeling "broken" is one of the most common thoughts people have, but one of the hardest to talk about.

Feeling disconnected from yourself doesn't mean you're permanently damaged. More often, it's a response to prolonged stress, burnout, anxiety, trauma, or emotional overload.

Healing starts with understanding what you're experiencing.

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, "I feel broken"?

You might still be going to work, showing up for friends, and checking off your responsibilities, but inside, something feels different. You feel disconnected, numb, overwhelmed, or like you're no longer yourself.

The truth is, feeling "broken" often isn't a sign that something is wrong with you. More often, it's a sign that your mind and body have been carrying more than they were meant to.

Stress. Burnout. Anxiety. Unprocessed experiences. Emotional overload.

These can all leave you feeling disconnected, but they don't define you.

If this resonates with you, know that you're not alone.
