Emily and I had a fantastic time representing Applewood Retirement Residence during today’s 2026 Living Well Seniors Showcase at the Peterborough Sport & Wellness Centre!

It was such a pleasure meeting so many seniors, family members, caregivers, and community partners who stopped by our booth throughout the day. Events like these remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such an incredible community.

We enjoyed countless meaningful conversations, made some wonderful new connections (and several reconnections), and we were thrilled to see so much interest in Applewood. We’re especially excited that many attendees booked tours and signed up for many of our upcoming events!

Also of note, Emily did a sensational job as a panellist on the discussion of seniors housing in the area! Congratulations!!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us and learn more about the Applewood Difference. It was a wonderful day filled with connection, community, and plenty of smiles.

Relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and it was a joy to spend the day connecting with so many wonderful people. We look forward to welcoming many of you to Applewood in the near future!

👑☕ What a royally wonderful afternoon at Applewood Retirement Residence!

A heartfelt thank you to Jane Ann Thompson for her fascinating and exuberant presentation on Queen Elizabeth II. Residents and guests were captivated from start to finish!

The fun continued with an elegant afternoon tea, where everyone donned their finest attire and fabulous fascinators. It was a delightful day filled with laughter, learning, and royal flair.

There’s something truly special about an afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, community, and a little bit of sparkle! ✨

Our Magnolia Watercolors class on April 8th was absolutely bursting with energy, joy, and inspiration! Guided by renowned artist Valerie Kent, participants tapped into their creativity and brought beautiful magnolias to life; each piece as unique and vibrant as the artist behind it.

The room was alive with laughter, colour, and that wonderful sense of pride that comes from creating something truly your own. And as you can see… the fun just keeps on going at Applewood Retirement Residence 💐
