Looking for swimming lessons that truly meet your child where they’re at? Our ABA-based approach focuses on building confidence, independence, and water safety skills in a supportive, structured environment.

The Community Nest is teaming up with Erin from EB Aquatics to bring inclusive, personalized swimming lessons to our community this summer! 💙

What's the difference between The Social Circle and Teen Community Crew?💭

At The Community Nest, we know that one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to social development. That’s why we offer two distinct, supportive programs tailored to different needs, ages, and goals!

Wondering which one is right for your family? Here is how they compare:

🔹 The Social Circle (Ages 7–16)

Designed specifically for children and teens with ASD, this program focuses on core social communication, emotional awareness, and self-advocacy within a small, predictable, and supportive group setting. Plus, it is OAP Funding Eligible!

🔹 Teen Community Crew (Ages 13+)
A community-based group for teenagers ready to step out into the real world. This program focuses on independence, managing money, and community safety through fun, active outings like bowling, restaurant trips, and shopping! Plus, it is OAP Funding Eligible!

Join us this summer for our Social Skills Camp at The Community Nest! 💜🌿

Our half-day camp is designed to help kids and teens build confidence, friendships, communication skills, teamwork, and social awareness in a fun, supportive environment.

Autism Ontario’s summer funding application is now open 🥳

The One-to-One Summer Support Worker Reimbursement Fund is available to Ontario families of autistic children or youth who retain the services of a one-to-one worker to accompany their child to a camp or program or out on community outings.

Maximum reimbursements of $600, per child or youth, (up to 18th birthday) will be made to subsidize services between July and August.

A minimum of 500 children from across Ontario are expected to receive reimbursement. Reimbursement will be provided based on a random selection made from all eligible applicants who apply.
