❤️ My heart is so full! ❤️

Our incredible residents achieved something truly special—they set a brand-new Big Word, Little Word record by creating an amazing 500 words! 🎉

While the number itself is remarkable, what makes me the proudest is the journey that got them there. Watching this wonderful group come together each week to brainstorm, encourage one another, share ideas, celebrate every success, and laugh until their sides hurt has been such a privilege. Their kindness, teamwork, determination, and joy remind us all of the power of working together.

I couldn't be prouder of each and every one of these amazing residents. You inspire me with your enthusiasm, creativity, and unwavering support for one another. This record belongs to all of you, and it is so well deserved.

Congratulations to every participant on this incredible milestone. You have shown that when hearts and minds come together, amazing things can happen. I am so proud of you all. ❤️👏

❤️ Sometimes, a little kindness means so much. ❤️

Recently, I mentioned to one of our residents’ family members that I could really use some more exercise balls for our daily exercise program. It was just a casual conversation, and I certainly wasn’t expecting anything.

A few days later, she arrived with six exercise balls for us.

They have little faces on them, and they have become an absolute favourite with our residents! In fact, they are now a big enough hit that residents are disappointed if they don’t get a “face ball” during exercise class. 😂❤️

Last week, I was telling her just how much everyone loved them and how much fun they had brought to our classes.

Later that same day, she went out and bought 4 more for us.

I was truly overwhelmed. ❤️

It wasn’t just the 2nd donation that affected me—it was the thought behind it. She listened to something I had mentioned in passing, noticed the joy they were bringing to our residents, and then thought to bring even more happiness to our classes.

That kind of kindness is something I will never take for granted.

These little exercise balls may seem like a simple thing, but they have brought so much laughter, excitement and joy to our residents. And they have reminded me how incredibly fortunate I am to be surrounded by people who care.

To our very generous family member, thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Thank you for listening, for thinking of us, and for going above and beyond—not once, but twice.

Your kindness has made a difference, and it means more than you know. 🥰

Sometimes the smallest gestures create the biggest smiles. And sometimes, those smiles come with a little face on a ball. 😊❤️

Standing on the rooftop, taking in the beauty of Lake Ontario and the lush green landscape below, I couldn't help but think of the saying by Wayne Dyer:

"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."

It's amazing how a simple shift in perspective can transform what we see. From above, the landscape feels peaceful, connected, and full of possibility. It made me wonder how often the same is true in life.

Our circumstances may not change overnight, but when we choose to see them through a lens of gratitude, hope, or curiosity, we often discover strength where we once saw struggle, opportunity where we saw obstacles, and beauty that had been there all along.

Sometimes, the greatest change begins not around us, but within us.

Wishing you a day filled with fresh perspective, open hearts, and reminders that beauty is often waiting for us to simply look a little differently. 🌿💙🌊

🎉 BINGO Day is always a highlight of the week! 🎉

Once a week, our Retirement Residence comes alive with the excitement of Bingo—and around here, it's serious business! 😄

Our Residents look forward to an afternoon filled with friendly competition, plenty of laughter, and the anticipation of hearing that magic word... BINGO! Every game brings smiles, cheers, and a little bit of suspense as everyone hopes to be the day's big winner.

It's about so much more than the prize—it's the joy of spending time together, sharing laughs, and creating wonderful memories. We love seeing the excitement on everyone's faces each week. 💙

Today, my heart is especially full.

One of our residents' family members surprised us by donating exercise balls for the senior exercise program that I lead at our retirement residence. It may seem like a simple gift, but to us, it is so much more. It's a gift that will bring movement, laughter, confidence, and connection to so many wonderful people.

I feel incredibly touched by their generosity and thoughtfulness. Knowing that someone believes in what we do and wants to help enrich the lives of our residents is something I will never take for granted.

To the family who made this possible—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness will make a difference every time those exercise balls are picked up, every smile they help create, and every moment of joy they bring.

I truly feel blessed to do what I love and to be surrounded by such caring, compassionate people. My heart is full of gratitude today. 💙

Our amazing Residents have just set a brand-new Big Word, Little Word record by creating an astounding 476 words! 🎉👏
We continue to be amazed by their determination, creativity, and teamwork. They approached the challenge with enthusiasm, encouraged each other and of course, had fun!!

We couldn't be prouder of this incredible accomplishment. Congratulations to everyone who participated—you've truly outdone yourselves! ❤️🎊

Our raised flower beds are adding a beautiful splash of color to the grounds at our Retirement Residence! 🌸🌼

These vibrant blooms brighten our landscaping and create a warm, welcoming space for our residents, families, and visitors to enjoy. There's nothing quite like the beauty of fresh flowers to make every day a little brighter.

🎈 Milestone Moments! 🎈Our retirement home community came together to celebrate a truly special milestone—one of our amazing residents just turned 90! 🥳✨It is always such a profound privilege to share in these momentous birthday celebrations alongside our residents and their wonderful families. Reaching 90 years is incredible, and it truly makes all of us pause and appreciate everything she has seen, accomplished, and experienced throughout her lifetime.Please join us in wishing her the happiest of birthdays! Congratulations on a beautiful, inspiring life well-lived! 🎂❤️

At our retirement residence, there's nothing quite like sharing a great story with good friends. This month, our Residents have selected Fear the Worst by Linwood Barclay.

This suspenseful thriller follows a divorced father whose world is turned upside down when his teenage daughter mysteriously disappears. As he searches for answers, he's drawn into a dangerous underworld where every clue brings new questions—and the fear of never finding her never fades.

With its compelling characters, unexpected twists, and edge-of-your-seat suspense, Fear the Worst is sure to spark plenty of thoughtful conversation at our next Book Club gathering.
