Blurred Lines //
Nothing like travel to shake up what you hold to be true.
Who am I without the label of mom, wife, ND? (And of course, chef, housekeeper, chauffeur- the list goes on) 😅
I wish I had the answer because the in-between is icky.
I’m sitting with the ick- which to be fair, is buffered when the landscape and company are so, so lovely.
However, it doesn’t make it less present in the background. She’s there. My intuition.
Softly asking for my attention 24/7. Waiting for my silence long enough to speak in Her kind , grounded way.
Processing and allowing 🌀- that’s the work.
This phase of midlife is a wild ride but here’s what I know to be true.
Whatever answers land they will be exactly where I need to hear. And even that feels like a warm hug.
We’re not meant to know the end result, only be gently led to the next step.
Gulp - for now, I can let go of the tight grip on what I *thought* was the end game and loosening my grip just a tiny bit more.
Baby steps.
Is there something you’ve been questioning in midlife lately?
