Did you know women have more taste buds than men?
That’s not why you go off the rails with sugar, carbs, snacking, and sweets sometimes, though. Here’s why👇🏼
Your body is run by many things, but run the show when it comes to cravings, appetite, and weight. I used to think I had weak willpower, and then I learned about and got that under control. Common signs of insulin resistance:
👉🏼Getting hangry, shaking, nauseous, irritable when you feel hungry
👉🏼You feel the need to snack often and get hungry every 2-3 hours
👉🏼You struggle to have energy
👉🏼You have stubborn weight you can’t lose
👉🏼You feel like you don’t have a turn off valve sometimes when you’re eating
👉🏼You crave sweets, sugars, carbs a lot, even the “healthy” kind
👉🏼Your cycles aren’t regular
👉🏼Your sleep isn’t great
88% of the population in America has some degree of insulin resistance, which means that probably Y O U.
What you can do👇🏼
🔥Exercise daily, even a walk after meals for 10 minutes changes things.
🔥Supplement with things that improve insulin sensitivity, slow the release of glucose into the bloodstream, and optimize blood sugar balance (chromium, chlorogenic acid, ALA or the all in one blend I use)
🔥Kill the yeast beast...Candida yeast, that is. craves sugar and carbs and those microbes in your gut send signals to your brain to FEED ME! Alcohol, sugar, fruit, carbs...they don’t discriminate. It’s all sugar food to then.
🔥Basic of 12-14 hours at night as your baseline.
Supplements were what I needed to get me back on track and rebalance. The rest is history. I make cookies and eat 2, not 10. I used to eat 10…don’t judge! I know you have, too😆😆😆 If you’re ready to be done with destructive eating habits and have a healthy relationship with you and food and your body, let’s talk BEFORE the holidays are come and gone!
