Good morning Pincher Creek, our 5th annual flower barrel contest has come to an end.
Thank you to all of our amazing participants who, as always made this such a fun project.
It was a tough go this year, between the heat and the very hungry deer, but we did our best.

Our lucky draw winner was Marion Hodgson of Pincher Creek, who went home with her choice barrel #5 planted by Kat at the Pincher Creek Food Bank. Congrats Kat!!

Our winning barrel by most votes was Barrel #1 planted by the amazing ladies at the Pincher Creek Women's Shelter. Who received a prize supplied by Snodgrass Funeral Homes-Pincher Creek Chapel. Congratulation to them!!

We look forward to seeing you all next year.

This Friday, we will be featuring barrel #9 planted by Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village.
Join them for a captivating journey through time nestled across six acres of rich history. With over thirty meticulously restored buildings and a treasure trove of 30,000 artifacts, their museum invites you to immerse yourself in the everyday lives of those who came before us.

Today we are featuring Barrel #10 planted by the fantastic ladies from the Pincher Creek Humane Society.
They are a non-profit organization with charitable status located in Pincher Creek, Alberta.
Their mission is to reduce the unwanted pet population by spaying and neutering as many animals as we can and find loving homes to ensure a safe environment for lost, unwanted or abused animals.
Their main goal is to work with our community through education and providing resources to stop the over population of unwanted cats and dogs.
Their shelter for homeless cats and dogs is a limited intake facility and strive to find loving homes for all of our four legged friends!

Between the rain, the wind and our friendly neighborhood deer eating up many of the flowers.....our flower barrels have definitely seen better days. Hopefully with some sunshine and love, they will come back better than before.
