Giddy Up N’ Go Equine Bodywork Hi, I’m Crystal—equine bodyworker serving the Lower Mainland, BC and creator of 3 Hoofprints.

Horse friends, I need to know 😂🐴

What is the ONE phrase your riding coach says so often that you can hear it in their voice even when they’re not there?

Mine has a few classics:
“Make good choices.”
“Did you ask for that?”
“Did you use fly spray?”

Drop yours in the comments 👇 I have a feeling there are going to be some good ones. 😂

One of the questions I’m sometimes asked is, “What actually happens during an equine bodywork session?” 🐴

The simple answer is — it depends on the horse.

I don’t follow the exact same routine every time. I start by listening to what the horse is showing me through their body, movement and responses, and the session develops from there.

Some horses may benefit from massage and myofascial work. Others may respond more to acupressure, stretching, craniosacral work, red light therapy or simply being given a little time and space to process.

The goal isn’t to make the horse fit the session.

The session fits the horse. 🤍

That’s why no two sessions are ever exactly the same.

If your horse has had bodywork before, what do you notice during or after their session? 🐴🤍

I love hearing the different ways horses show us they're processing and relaxing.

Every horse brings something different to the table. 🐴

Some days I might spend more time working through an area of tension. Other days a horse may need more stretching, myofascial work, red light, or simply a quieter approach.

That's why I don't believe in giving every horse the exact same session.

I work with what the horse is showing me that day and adjust the session from there.

Meanwhile, most of us horse people are walking around with the same knot in our own shoulder we've been ignoring for three years. 😂

We really are much better at looking after them than ourselves.

I came across this thought while working on 3 Hoofprints tonight, and it felt especially true. 🤍

“Somewhere between the barn and the saddle, I found a little more of myself.”

Horses have taught me so many things over the years — patience, trust, presence, and sometimes the importance of letting go.

I think that's part of what makes the horse-human connection so difficult to explain to someone who hasn't experienced it.

What has a horse taught you about yourself? 🐴

Three horses. One healing journey. 🐴🤍

3 Hoofprints was inspired by three very special horses — Ike, Pepper and Smokie — and the lessons they've brought into my life.

Patience. Trust. Healing. Humour. And the reminder that sometimes the greatest teachers come with four hooves.

What started as a way to honour their stories has grown into a small collection of original equestrian designs for people who understand just how much a horse can change your life.

And I know Ike, Pepper and Smokie aren't the only horses who have left that kind of mark.

Which horse has left a hoofprint on your heart? I'd love to hear about them. 🤍

🐴 Exciting news—3 Hoofprints has a new home! 🐴

When I first introduced 3 Hoofprints, I shared how this very personal project was inspired by three amazing horses—Ike, Pepper and Smokie—and the lessons they have taught me.

Since then, I’ve been working behind the scenes to create a shop that more fully reflects the heart of 3 Hoofprints. The new store brings together original watercolor artwork, meaningful equestrian designs, barn-life humour and products inspired by the connection between horses and humans.

I’m so excited to officially share it with you!

✨ Visit the new 3 Hoofprints shop:

Please have a look, follow along and share it with your horse-loving friends. Every visit, like, comment and share helps my small business grow—and truly means more than you know.

Thank you for being part of this next chapter. 🤍

🐴 Welcome to Giddy Up N Go

Hi, I’m Crystal, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned from years spent around horses, it’s that they’re always communicating — we just have to learn how to listen.

That belief is at the heart of Giddy Up N Go.

I provide individualized equine bodywork designed around the horse in front of me. Rather than following the same routine for every horse, I let each session unfold according to what they’re showing me that day.

Depending on what your horse needs, a session may incorporate massage, acupressure, myofascial techniques, craniosacral work, stretching, Reiki and red light therapy.

But for me, bodywork has never been only about techniques.

It’s about slowing down. Paying attention. Noticing the small changes — a deeper breath, a softer eye, a lowered head, a lick and chew, or that moment when a horse realizes they can finally let go of some of the tension they’ve been carrying.

My goal is to help horses feel more comfortable and balanced in their bodies while supporting their overall well-being — whether they’re performance horses, lesson horses, treasured companions, or enjoying their retirement.

And somewhere along the way, horses have taught me just as much as I could ever hope to give them. ❤️

My love of horses and the lessons they’ve taught me also inspired 3 Hoofprints — a creative project built around the stories, connection, humour and healing that come with sharing our lives with horses.

It’s a different side of what I do, but it comes from the very same place: a belief in the connection between horses and the people who love them.

Thank you for being here and for trusting me to be part of your horse’s care.

If you’re wondering whether bodywork might benefit your horse, feel free to send me a message. I’m always happy to chat about your horse and what they may need.

Welcome to Giddy Up N Go — where every horse is listened to, and every session is their own. 🐴🌿
